Default I've been rolling down hill since Easter wkend & can't stop

as you know Easter Sunday my youngest passed out,no reasonable reason,I spent that week taking him to the dr.& hospital(& worrying myself sick). They didn't find anything wrong, relief, but I still worry.I've been so tired I just snack for breakfast & lunch, but I have been eating a reasonable supper,& I haven't been sleeping good.I went a whole week without walking or any sort of exercise. Now I just fell like such a failure & that gets me depressed & then I start on a downward roll.I've felt too ashamed to even come back here to this site, but now I know I really need some serious help.Gotta get ready for bed now,3am's not that far away.

Don't beat yourself up. You are a good choice away from being back on track. You don't have to keep rolling down the hill til you hit the bottom, you can get back up, get back on track. I know you can do it.

Today is a new day....focus on ur next meal with your only aim to eat a good healthy meal within your normal calorie range...then next meal do the same...before you know it you have been on track for a entire day,,,then tomorrow...do the same thing...dont look too far ahead...i agree dont beat yourself up about it...we need to learn to be kinder to ourselves

I am glad that your son is ok - don't beat yourself up about being worried, that doesn't accomplish anything positive. Take a deep breath, make one choice at a time. Take a walk, catch your breath, clear your head. Then, make a good meal choice. One thing at a time. You can do it!
