Default I need to get myself together....

AND LOSE THIS WEIGHT!

I need someone to kick me in the butt I calorie counted over a year ago and lost 26 pounds, this winter came around and I gained it back PLUS SOME. What was I thinking Anyways..I need to do this, my body feels so different and I want to be healthy! Anybody want to be my "Jillian" and make sure I'm staying on track? LOL


Anybody want a buddy to lose weight with and help each other stay motivated?

My favorite Jilian quote" If a 500 pound person can do than you certainly can!" When I'm on the stair machine or some other devil machine I just think of that little monkey lady sitting on top of it kicking my butt!

Thank you all so much..I have been counting calories today and now that dinner is sneaking up on me, I'M HUNGRY! I have 4 kids and a husband that want good but fattening dinners...I gotta work this out lol

Lexi- I will be your Jillian...anytime I see you post I will give you a boost of energy and a kick in the butt!

I am right there with you. I was at 28 pounds lost! And I just quit. Life got in my way. I am the queen of excuses. I have no legitimate excuses not to do this! I have to get back at it too. I have decided NO MORE EXCUSES and it's time to get serious. I am also noticing how different my body feels with this weight back on and I HATE IT!! Let's start kicking some butt and get this weight off again!

Maybe we should start a thread called "THE Jillians" LOL I wish this board moved a little faster so I have a site to go to and ask questions and just talk randomly throughout the day to keep my mind in the right place.

Ok are you ready, here it goes! I was heavier (and I'm 3 inches shorter) than you when I started, I lost 71 lbs then I got pregnant and gained 50 back, now here I am 31 lbs below my pregnancy weight so if you count the weight I gained back from pregnancy I've lost 152 lbs since 2006 (I don't count the weight I gained back, but it make the but kicking more interesting). It's been a LONG hard road with lots of stalls, trials and tribulations along the way but you have to WANT this! This has to be a lifestyle change and this is not a DIET! You CAN do this, but you have to do this for YOU! Treat losing weight like you would maintenance, learn to eat "off" plan occassionally but keep it in perspective (tonight I went out for drinks w/ coworkers and by keeping it undercontrol and skipping all the appetizers they orders and by planning ahead for the rest of the weeks I'm still within my calorie range for the week). Be patient and know that that this is going to take time. I'm thrilled it's taken me 4 years to get where I am, this way I KNOW this is going to be permanent this time. Good luck to you!

DMNewman - I dont have 4 kids but I do have the other half that needs feeding ALL the time....and he stays in shape....its so annoying!

marie8674 - I so know what you mean about making excuses....I do it every day! lol! I'll just have this biscuit...it wont hurt...... or I'll be good at tea (when I want a naughty lunch) story of my life......but I agree NO MORE EXCUSES! this weight has got to go.

I dont know about you two, - but I've got a bit of an event I'm attending in 8 weeks so I want some weight off by then, even ifs its just 5lbs, I will feel so much better. i know that no one will notice a 5lb loss, but I will know in my head thats its gone.

We can do this!
