I watch my carbs only because that is what works for me. The only rule I have as of recent is to not eat carbs in the evening. Since I started doing this I see some type of loss almost daily. I have to limit carbs or I will not lose. I eat lots of protein and I do eat carbs throughout the day.

I've been considering watching my carbs too. On average my balance is about 30% fat, 50% carbs, and 20% protein. In the last 6 weeks since beginning my diet again I have not paid attention to these numbers too much, but I am hitting a stall now and thinking it might be good to make some adjustments. I LOVE oatmeal and eat a serving almost everyday for breakfast. I plan to replace this with a protein shake in the morning for a week or so and see what happens.

As with all diets, we have to make adjustments along the way!
