Any Experienced Counters Want to take a Stab at...

  • Chicken Fajita Taco Salad, no cheese, no sour cream, no shell.

    Chicken (white)
    Lettuce (iceberg)
    Tomatoes, Onions
    Bell Peppers and Onions
    Guac. (probably 2-3 TBSP)

    My calories were very low all day so I'm not terribly worried about it, but would love a ballpark...
  • Amount on the chicken?

    I'd give yourself 50-100 calories for the veggies, 100-150 cals for the guac, and then the chicken...6 ounces cooked is about 250, so eyeball based on that.

    And then if I'm eating at a restaurant, I always add a tbsp of oil - the bell pepper and onion and chicken all may have been cooked in it - if you cooked it at home that's less an issue.
  • Definitely a restaurant. If I'd cooked it at home I'd know how many calories were in it. hehe.

    No idea on the Chicken. It was underneath the lettuce and ended up all mixed in. Can't imagine they put much more than 6 oz in though, for $$ reasons. It was on the smaller side of medium for a restaurant salad.

    I'll just estimate high and go from there. I'm sure I'll still be way below cal limit for the day (got a little intense working and forgot to eat for much of the day...)

    im actually going out tonight myself cant wait to have a huge salad with chicken and treat myself to some full fat dressing .... of course ill have to minus the crutons and cheese ... mmmmm im getting excited now ! lol
