Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the love.
JD - how was your bf's arrival home? I'm sure he was happy with the welcome home. Misspriss - Can we get the receipe for that pizza? It sounds really good. Lori - Sorry to hear you were having a tough weekend. I have never had an anxiety attack so I can't imagine what you went through. But praying it gets better each day. Okay everyone lets have another on plan day and get some type of exercise in so we push through this last week and three days, gotta get it done!! |
The weekend was busy but I'm proud of how I handled it.
Saturday ate out for celebration of daughter's piano festival (she ranked superior!) and she wanted Red Lobster. I got the broiled flounder w/seafood stuffing and was so excited when I got home and looked up the CC - 160!! I went high this day (1900-ish cals) but still did well all told. The family walked around the subdivision that night 2 times which is a little over a mile and a half. Sunday, had a brunch in Sunday School that I didn't know about (missed last week being in the nursery) and there was NOTHING healthy. One fruit bowl, but all that was left was cantaloupe and I don't care for it. So I just drank about 4 oz of Passionfruit juice. Felt proud I didn't even have an urge to cave in! Did Denise Austin Fit and Lite yoga/cardio/abs and a 1 mile WATP. Calories for the day 1427. I wore a dress to church yesterday that I haven't been able to wear since 2004 size XL! I was afraid it would look out of date, but I wore it with tall boots and it looked current. DD said, "Mommy, I've never seen that dress before." and I told her she had, but she was 3 the last time I was able to wear it!! Several people noticed for the first time that I'm losing weight. I guess since I didn't have my old baggy clothes on?? Already this morning did a different Denise Austin Fit and Lite yoga/cardio/upper body and will do either treadmill or WATP this afternoon. I found this old VHS tape that I'd recorded of Denise Austin's Daily Workouts and F&L several years ago off Lifetime TV. I love her workouts and was sooo excited to find that tape! Need to get hubby to convert it to dvd for me. I soooo hope I can lose my 4 pounds to my St. Patty's goal!! I'm working diligently to get there! I'm a little surprised how easy it's feeling right now, not feeling deprived or like it's a struggle at all. Yesterday's brunch really proved that to me. Hope everyone's week goes great and we stay OP and we ALLLLL meet our SP goals! |
jiggle~thanx girl! Anxiety attacks feel like your taking your last breath ever. Scary as heck But I am use to having them I am to a point that I have a rough day with them but always survive em. AGAIN CONGRADS ON THOSE NEW SIZES!
As for me gonna try to venture outside today ~it is suppose to get 59 degrees here in OHIO today. With my ashtma ~i know I will have to wear a dust mask But sometimes that doesn't always help...But I am gonna try it anyways...Worst that can happen if it doesn't work then I just got a few weeks till mid & upper 60's & some 70's more than likely & I know I can be out in that type of weather! Anyways logging out to try to enjoy the weather~Plus hoping that my weigh in later brings me a new low!!! HUGS EVERYONE~HAVE A BLESSED DAY! |
NightAngel: Lasagna is a weakness of mine. when I make it I have 3 huge slices and want more! You are working out and getting back on track you can do it!
Jigglefree: the bf was cranky and tired last night when he came home. I expected that so he went to bed and then this morning a new man! He was very loving and smoochy smoochy lol. Once he got some sleep and woke up seeing everything of his was cleaned and a lunch packed, he was happy. It was hard last night to ignore his crankiness but he had a long drive and long day. How you have a great OP week! susie: congrats on your dress! Lori: congrats on your sucess so far! You will make your goal and you have already made so many goals. I hope you have a gread day:hug: This morning the scale was at a good number, my inches are getting less. I'm measuring my waise and hips. I'm going to start doing pilates to tone up my love handles lol. I have a little tuggie left and I want to increase my muslce mass. But mostly I'm feeling healthy and in control of my eating. Come July it will be one year since i've kept off the last 20lbs. In January 2008 I lost the first 20 then kept that off for a year, and then May 2009 I started to lose the last 20lbs which I hit July 2009. I feel if I can keep it off for a year I will be able to keep it off forever! In 6 years I've never kept a weight this long. Well I have alot of studying to do today. I hope everyone has a great OP day. |
Good Morning all! Well I had a pretty good weekend the entire time until yesterday....dun dun duuuuunnnn. I usually take sundays as my "cheat day" or basically a day where I allow myself to have things that I wouldn't normally have during the rest of the week. It helps me stay OP the rest of the time and yet I still get to have what I want. However, I think I went a little overboard yesterday...I'm not even going to write down the list of things I had...also i didn't get to my water goal either. So I know i shouldn't have weighed myself today but couldn't help myself. I GAINED 2.5 POUNDS!!!!!!! ugh!! So i'm not going to whine cuz i did it to myself, I'm just going to do get right back on track today and next sunday try to limit myself to maybe ONE treat. haha......:D
Nightangel: congrats on that pound!!! :carrot::carrot: fruitlady: I'm sorry to hear about your mom. That has to be tough. Stay strong! And you got these two pounds, I know it!!! Losing4another: yes it was a phenomenal movie!! A little dark for a Disney film, but you have to expect that when Tim Burton is the director. haha. I will definitely go see the crazies, sounds good and i do like scary movies that keep you entertained. isn't it funny that sometimes our imagination/dreams can be horrifying? Now that's scary how we can dream those things up!! :) haha. Your daughter sounds like my mom; the first thing she happened to do when i started my diet, was make homemade chocolate chip cookies....I was like are you for real?....I was for sure there was no hope for me and i was only a day into my diet. haha KDM: yes i completely agree that the "having experience" requirement does suck. It's like you need experience, but how do u get experience if you don't have the experience. you know? it's a crazy circle. haha :dizzy: congrats on the 50 POUNDS!!!!! that is sooo awesome!!!!!! :carrot::carrot::carrot: jdonato: congrats on the good weekend!! I wish i could say the same!! haha. jigglefree: CONGRATS ON MAKING YOUR GOAL!!!!!!! :carrot::carrot: That is so awesome and you definitely deserve it!! jules: I watched the oscars too. I agree the speeches get sooo long and boring!! Who's dress did you think was prettiest? lori: hope you asthma doesn't affect you too much so you can get out there and enjoy the gorgeous day!!! :) Everybody else i missed, keep up the good work you are doing awesome!!!!!!! This group rocks!!! |
SOMEHOW I'm down 3lbs for this past week! 178.2 (1.6past goal)...I'm starting to worry my battery is going bad! LoL I've never lost that much in a week! There's a scale at work, so I'll compare when I get there...it could be a nice swoosh from TOM, or maybe bc I exercised more, or even bc I upped my calories??? I dunno...but I'll stick w/the exercise AND 1500c/day to see if maybe, just maybe, 1500 is my magic #!!! It'd be nice to start losing 2lb/wk! A girl can hope, right?!?! LoL :D
night--mmmm, lasagna!! one binge weekend will NOT ruin everything (at least that's how i see it! LoL) **Here's to you gettin back OP** susie--Good Job w/the weekend!!! 4lbs to go...YOU CAN DO IT!!! lori--hope you're able to enjoy the good weather!! spring is def. on it's way!!! YAY!!!! jdon--I totally agree...I lost my first 20 in 08 and kept 15 of that off for a while...then started slowly losing again...I agree that if we can keep little bits off for a while, then once we finally reach goal, it'll help us keep the entire amount off!!! Congrats on the scale & inches!! farn--I thought the exact thing when I was gettin rejected...how in the world is someone supposed to gain experience if NOONE will allow her!?!?! lol Don't worry about that 2.5lbs...It's ONLY WATER WEIGHT! it will be gone before you know it!!! **HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE** |
Happy Monday everyone! Glad to see we all had a good weekend, for the most part ;) I wasn't off plan, but I wasn't exactly on plan either. I stayed within my calorie limits, strangely enough, but indulged in pizza. I think it helped that it was thin crust with mushrooms and olives and not a deep dish with pepperoni!
1.5 weeks left for the challenge. I'm feeling good even though I'm still retaining something, water maybe? That needs to go away. Starting with some exercise this week, got some walking in on Saturday, hope to get more in tonight. Good things from here! |
Well, I found my box/manual that came with my scale and according to that, my display will saw "LO" when my battery is dieing...so that gave me SOME peace! lol the scale here at work seems comparable given that I'm fully dressed and have eaten bf & lunch...so I guess it's official...I'm in the 170s! LoL
I did WATP High Calorie Burn this afternoon before work and plan to do C25K wk.8 d1 tonight before I leave work...that's a continuous 28min jog...I haven't jogged since Tuesday (I think) so I'm hoping I can do it!! I got a new pair of running shoes this weekend so that should help w/my foot pain...I broke down and bought a good pair..Brooks Adrenaline GTS 10...I just decided I needed a good pair if I'm going to stick w/it ... plus, I used my birthday money that I got early so it didn't "hurt" as much! LoL I'm such a tightwad! haha Speaking of my Bday, I'm glad this challenge is over on the 17th, bc my bday is the following weekend and I'll be dining out AND drinking alcohol! LoL But, I'll be sure to get that water weight off BEFORE I sign up for the next challenge!!! haha LORI---what will be our next challenge??? Easter (4/4) seems too close after 3/17 (only 2.5wks) and Memorial Day (5/31) seems too far away (almost 2.5 months)...maybe just an April 30th challenge?? What do ya think??? (sorry, I'm just thinking ahead...I like to plan things out! haha I know, I know, I'M A NERD!!!) |
I feel so bad, I blew it yesterday. I gained 2lbs. and now I have 4 lbs to lose for the challenge. I had 960 cal. so far today, that leaves me room for some grapes and strawberries tonight. The weight gain scared me into really sticking with it. I'm so afraid if I don't start controlling myself, I will gain all the weight back that I lost.
|
checking in....
well, if I'm shooting for 225 by the 17th, I dunno how well it's going. I did gain weight... I'm naughty sometimes.... we will just have to see. I did for a minute there actually get into one of the two pairs of I've been eyeballing for the goal. :)
|
KDM~U Nerd u! Just kidding!! Love ya!(that cracked me up to read!)
Anyways.... ummm yeah I was thinking that easter is too close & Memorial day is too far away also.So my thoughts exactly... Actually April 30th is Arbor day so that sounds great!~Whats everyone else think???? An arbor day challenge??? Sounds fab to me! Jdonata & farn & everyone else~Hugs to all I am in a hurry to get to sleep gotta go grocery shopping tommorrow early so Must be awake or will go over my budget. I trieds to go out today but Was having a bit of trouble breathing ~it did get to about 59 to 60 here in OHIO But the air was still a little too cool for me so I just enjoyed looking out at everything & me & my hubby took a drive before the kids got home which made me feel like I was out in the weather more than I was.....Another couple of weeks & I will be right out there with the rest of my family ~I HOPE~Enjoying the fresh air & watching my flowers grow! HUGS~ |
For those who wanted the pizza recipe - it is SUPER easy (I don't cook and I made it yesterday and today). It's from "Eating for Life" which is the companion cookbook to the Body for Life program. Preheat the oven to 425. Put 1-2tbsp bbq sauce over a small whole wheat pita (mine was about six inches across), add cooked chicken breast, chopped red onions, and top with 1/4c low fat mozzerella cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts and the pita is crispy. I am telling you - this is SO good. You can easily figure out the calories which of course will vary based on what pita bread and cheese you use.
I also made a great chicken salad that I stuffed into lettuce leaves - hmm, maybe wrapped is better than stuffed! Anyway, that was chopped chicken breast, black beans (rinsed), canned corn, chopped red pepper, chopped red onion, lime juice, cumin (tiny bit), 1/4c fat free sour cream, 1/4c fat free Miracle Whip or mayo. Mix it all up and eat it however - soooo good. Oh, and my final Eating for Life recipe! Chocolate mousse - mix one packet of sugar free chocolate pudding with fat free milk (based on the instructions on the packet), add one scoop protein powder (I used vanilla) and 1/2c fat free Cool Whip. Blend the whole lot, let it sit for about an hour in the fridge. So good, about 150 cals, and 30g of protein (depending on what protein powder you use). I'm trying the workout routine from Body for Life - it's weight training (heavy weights), alternating upper and lower body, and every other day HIIT cardio (high intensity interval training, I think it means!). Work out six days a week, with a day off. Just trying to shake things up a bit and get some more energy to get me through the last few weeks of this crazy time at work. |
Well I just finished my C25K WO...and I've decided to skip WK 8...Wk 8 has you running 28min and when I hit 28, I liked the song too much, so I kept going and ran for 30min (which is wk9)...so I ran, well jogged (4.5mph), for 30min straight which totaled 2.25miles!!! WOOHOO! My new Brooks shoes are AWESOME!!! As well as the iPod...hearing the music in the earphones (rather than on the radio speakers) helped SOOO much...I didn't even really think about how much time I had left...
LORI---I AM SOO READY FOR AN ARBOR DAY CHALLENGE!!! I love these challenges so much! They keep me on track! Glad to hear it's warming up in Ohio for ya! BTW...what part of Ohio do you live in??? JULES--that pizza sounds tasty! AND the mousse!! Thanks for providing the recipes! Also, I've heard good things about HIIT...I think I'm gonna try it after I work my way to running 3miles! I've only been focusing on time rather than distance in the C25K program, but I'd like to get to 3miles so I can sign up for a 5k race!! Good luck "shakin things up" and I hope work doesn't get too too crazy for ya!! |
Good Morning
Today is upper body weights, and I will have to get it in early because DH has an appointment with his cardiologist @ 11 this morning. That should give me plenty of time to get my workout in and do some cleaning. ok,everytime i cheat on my diet im going to confess to it to you guys...i ate 350calories over yesterday. DH is the culprit;), he decide's to make mozzarella sticks last night. I told him not to buy them. (of course i could have said no too:o) He's already mentioned eating out for lunch at Steak & Shake after his doctors appt....now what in the **** can i eat on a diet at Steak and Shake?:?: will probably have to go somewhere else... bbl |
ok...
misspriss- maybe you can look up some menu items from that place and decide ahead of time what mgiht fork for you. It seems to help. Also, as far as cheating on diets, confession is half the battle ;)
KDM322- running eh? I wish I could do that, it hurts a lot to breathe though...and of course being really out of shape doesn't help either. More power to ya! :cheer3: Julesp313- Thanks for the recipes, def have to try that pizza some time! :T I'm kinda good with not having an arbor day challenge only because I have a monthly challenge normally anyway and so it might not really matter either way... I'm currently fighting off my extra lbs... and should be back on track some time tomorrow.... :carrot: |
hello , hello, hello!! Just a really quick note today for me, I have a huge exam in about 4 hours that I have barely studied for. shame, I know. I will catch up more later. So I gained, the 2.5 from this weekend like i said, but I now lost a pound of that, so i'm working my way back down! I have 6 pounds to go to reach my 20 pound mark lost for St. Patty's day. I'm hoping what I put on this weekend was water weight and I will have a whoosh some time soon and get close to goal. Otherwise it's going to be very very close!!
|
I hope everyone is having a great day. It's beautiful outside and the best part is the nights are getting warmer, easier walking for class.
Farn: I wish you the best of luck on your exam! I totally understand, I have two tomorrow and one thursday. Stress and weightloss are not good friends. Congrats on losing 1lb, I'm sure it is all water weight. misspriss: Men are very bad influences for dieting. The bf will do that with pizza rolls. And 350 calories really isn't that bad. Good luck with lunch today. I think they list nutriton facts on their website and there also is dailyplate.com and livestrong.com that will list the menu items. Hope it helps. jules: It is so funny just as soon as I got done reading your post how to make the bbq pizza, my daily email from Hungrygirl.com pops up and guess what....Swap for bbq pizza with the same ingredients you said. Weird!?:dizzy: but either way that sounds really good and easy to calorie count out. I will definitely make it for dinner this week. It will make the bf think he's eating pizza and me happy with healthy wise. Thanks again! I'll get to everyone else later when I take a study break tonight! I've been doing really good so far. 8 days binge free and today will be Day 9! Thanks to Lori's suggestion of uping my calories I've been able to stay OP and even lose a little. I feel very comfortable and more incontrol, which I can't say for school right now. I have two exams tomorrow and on thursday and I'm freaking out! I'm worried about this semester. One class I failed the first exam, which I can still do well providing I do well on the next exam and final. Which is why I try to do my best on the midterms so the finals are not as stressful.....*sigh*. I need help and I hope my friends at school can help me. We all are stressed with graduation, but if I fail my class then there won't be a graduation....grrrrrrrr! I have class at 3:30 til 7:30 then run home eat dinner and study for the night. I just want to get through these next 3 exams and do well then I'm on spring break. well i'm off to get ready. I hope everyone's doing great. TTYL |
hey ladies!! (& any gentlemen reading or involved!!!) I am having ablast outdoors today so I am keeping this short. I am having to wear my dust mask but its warm enough to be outside...Me & my hubby even saw a purple crocus in bloom & I was sooooo excited! cause they only bloom for a few days. And there it was! On my firts day out & about since September.

Hi everyone. I'm sorry for my absence and lack of posts over the last few days. I haven't been doing so great. This past weekend was spent fighting with my boyfriend, who is over a thousand miles away, about sh*t we shouldn't be fighting about. It was so stressful and emotionally draining that on Saturday night I went over to a friends and drank what felt like a million calories, ate like I was starving and just felt... awful. Since then, I haven't had much of an appetite and I haven't been eating as much as I should. I'm still making good choices when I eat but I know I'm not eating enough. I also got my monthly visit from TOM on Saturday, so that doesn't help things. I'm still hovering around 195lbs and I'm still on track exercise wise so I'm hoping I'll hit my goals next week. I'm going to try my hardest.
Has anyone ever been in or know of anyone who's been in a long distance relationship that's been successful? I'm having a really tough time with mine. :( |
Did good today again, I had 1040 calories and am in the losing mode right now. Lost 1 lb. so I have 3lbs. to go for the challenge.
|
Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone for awhile. Being sick and having to work during the day was draining all my energy, so I've been sleeping/resting in the afternoons. I'm finally feeling better and the cough is almost gone as well. The bad part is that I gained a few pounds this week. I hadn't been burning as many calories but I'd been eating the same amount (plus more on some days). In addition to that, TOM is here so I have some extra water weight. Hopefully it'll be gone by the end of the week. I really need to start logging my meal/calories again. I've really been slacking with that.
|
Today Was Awesome!
katy~Love stinks~& is great all in one! TOM ~well it just stinks~i hate it totally. As far as long distance relationships...Depends on you & him I would think...If It aint working for u ~maybe it aint the right thing for u. But then again maybe it is...Only u know. Just look deep within for the answer to that one.~HUGS!
fruitlady~good job~even though I am still worried your eating to low of calories~HUGS! zoochick~Hope u get totally well soon!! sounds like your close to being well. As far as weight gain while your sick~We all are at our low points when were ill~U can get it right back off~ u May have just needed more in ya for energy while ya was sick~our bodys know these things.~HUSG TO YA! As for me..........Spent hours outside today ~OMG ~I am getting a sore throat but "i think" it was worth it~I had a blast! nearly 6 months cooped indoors because of breathing issues is waaaay to long! I was nearly going nuts! Now as soon as the good weather sets in for the season I will definetly get these last few pounds off quick cause I was all over my property~And it is hills mostly~good exercise! Anyways Had a superb day! Hope everyone else did too! If it is warm 2morrow also & not rainy I am gonna venture out there again!!! It got like 68 to 69 here today in OHIO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!! Hugs~to all |
hmm..
Well, the scale is not going down... and TOM is coming... right in time to mess up my goal for this challenge. I dunno if it'll work out :( I think it was 225... well... at least I have 2 other goals this month to work on...
|
hmm...
Katy05- Well, long distance relationships are really tough. They require a lot of trust and patience... I myself won't have one because it's just too hard and I'm not the most trusting of men sometimes. Anyway, I'm trying to think if I've known any that have worked. I know a couple of people who have had online relationships int he past... one they had for about a year but I think the lack of physical being gets to ya... and they broke up. The other I remember was dating other people at the same time. I guess it depends on what you're comfortable with. 1,000 miles is a long way... especially if you don't see a change in the future. I mean temporary absence isin't that bad...like when a person is off to college or overseas... I guess it depends on the person how it goes.... I'm sorry things seem like they're crashing down. It should all work out somehow. Maybe focus on something else right now... at least they're not standing there fighting with you in the same room I guess. That's a pain.
|
Good Morning all!! Well today has started off pretty well for me, I know I did well on my test last night, stayed OP all day, and today the scale was my best friend! I lost all the weight I gained from this weekend plus 1/2 a pound. So that puts me at 4 pounds away from my goal for St. Patty's day!! I hope I make it!! I haven't weighed this low in I honestly cannot remember, so today is a good day for me. I'm going to make it every day like this from now on! I hope everybody else is having a good start of the day as well!!!
Attention: OFFICIALLY ONE WEEK LEFT!!!! THIS IS THE FINAL STRETCH!!!!!!!! Go Team Go Team, Ra Ra Sis Boom Bah!!!!! (ok, not even going to pretend I was a cheerleader in hs....) :carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot: Oh and I am totally down for an Arbor Day challenge!!! I will plant a tree in my backyard for everybody that makes their goal!!! How about that?! Losing weight and helping mother earth!! :) KDM: I think you were right about it just being water weight!! haha. I hate that crap! Congrats on being in the 170's!!!! That's awesome!!! And those 2.5 miles!! Holy crap, i can only dream about runnning that! haha Shylah: mmmm that pizza you had sounds good!! We have to enjoy ourselves every once in a while!! fruitlady: it's alright, the same thing happened to me this past weekend, I gained 2.5 pounds!! Like KDM told me, it's probably just water weight! I don't think you can gain 2 pounds that fast! It'll be gone before you know it!! Nightangel: congrats on making it into one of the pairs!! I sometimes think non scale victories are way better than the pound or two we get every so often from the scale Lori: you sound like you belong in my family!! With your extreme love of flowers!!! haha reading your posts i get deja vu! haha hopefully you get to enjoy your flowers soon enough! They will be blooming soon! My mom keeps dragging me to Bachman's every sunday after church, haha for sure sign, that it's flower time! julesp: thanks for that recipe!!! All of those things sound amazing!! I'm going to have to try it sometime soon!! misspriss: don't you just hate when family members go out and get fattening food? My whole family ordered Papa John's the other night with cheesy bread galore too...I shockingly had a salad.....just not the same haha jdonato: thanks!! it went really well ( I think) but you know how that goes...you never REALLY know until you get the test handed back. I have the issue of thinking I did better than I really did....haha. How are your exams going?!! Midterms suck!!1 good luck on them!! Spring break is almost here!! Are you doing anything fun for spring break? katy05: sorry to hear that you are having troubles with your boyfriend. I give you so many props, a long distance relationship has got to be hard. My longest distance relationship was where he lived about two hours away. i thought that was extremely rough and it was only TWO HOURS!! I ended up getting really paranoid and I didn't trust him ever, so I had to break it off for my sanity. I mean it wasn't a real LDR but with school and work and life in general it was hard to see him. you have to do what is best for you and in your heart. Sometimes we need to be a little selfish and do what is best for us and nobody else. Whatever that decison is I hope it finds you happy!!Life is too short to be sad!! And I do know somebody that is in a long distance relationship and it's succesful too! So it's not all bad news! haha. He is stationed in South Carolina for the Army and she's here in MN. I know its something that they work on every day but they want it bad enough, so they don't mind to make the effort. So it is possible! Stay strong chica! zoochick: glad to hear that you are feeling a little better!! :) Well I'm off to go meet with my friend to plan our itinerary for Mexico! I leave in a week!! Have a good day everybody!! |

Hey fellow St. Patty's challenge friends. I haven't been on in a couple of days. I felt horrible yesterday, I think it was from Zyrtec. I took it for the first time and I felt wiped out! Yesterday was my day off from exercise for the week and I ended up with 1431 calories for the day. I did end up planting some daffodil bulbs that my neighbor brought me. She dug them up from her family's farm and brought them to plant at her house next door and gave me the leftovers. We both have newly built houses and next to zero landscaping yet. So next spring at least we'll have some daffodils if they survive the transplant.
I have made up for yesterday's day off from exercise, though. I put the baby in the stroller and I did 6 laps around our subdivision this morning. I had planned for 4 laps, but he fell asleep on the 3rd lap so I just kept going. I was about to die on the 6th lap. It was starting to get hot and I was out of water. We're having a high of 77* today! I forgot sunblock and went out with a naked face, so I'll be having some pink cheeks tonight! When I got back in and got a drink, I did upper body with hand weights (3 lbs). I held both weights together (to equal 6lbs) and pretended to do kettle bell with them, LOL. I have considered getting one, but wasn't sure if it was worth the $$. I plan to do one more round of Denise Austin's abs this afternoon. While I was walking and thinking I realized that for the Arbor Day Challenge my goal is going to be to get into One-Derland!! I am so close and I will absolutely make it and keep going to my goal! I am so thankful for 3FC because it's a HUGE motivational factor for me and I just have no bit of a desire to quit! Plus, I'm super glad to see the tickers back! Hoping and praying (and working) these last 4 pounds away so I can succeed on my St. P's day challenge. I've got to hop offline, but I'll reply personally later to individuals! Keep up the good work - one week to go!! |
Hello all! This is just a quick check in because I sitll have tons of cleaning to do todya, but I was down a little bit this morning, to 177.2. I'm hoping now to just have a new low weight for St. Patty's Day since I know I won't reach my original goal. Hope everyone has a great day!

Well, my scale is back to teasing me! 179.0 LoL I go down down down, then slowly creep back up 0.4-0.6 a day for just a couple days, then I go back down below the lowest...it's soo freakin weird! but I'm used to it now tho...happens regularly nowadays! haha I've been eating OP and exercising so there's no reason for it to increase, but it does (maybe it's my hormones after finishing TOM???) all i gotta say is it better not be above my goal of 179.8 come next wednesday!!! LoL i may then have to throw it out the window! haha
sounds like everyone is doing good...and it's only 11 days til spring!!!! YAY! |
Hi Chicks, Thanks Lori and Farn00a57. Lori- I have been eating 1050 cal. a day to lose weight for 2 yrs. I am small, I feel great, so I guess it's fine. Thanks for being concerned. I do eat 1100 to 1200 when I want to maintain. And actually if I go as high as 1200 I start gaining. Today I had 1120 cal. I shouldn't have cause I'm still trying to lose 2 more lbs.for the challenge. I will just lose slower at that amount. Good luck everyone!!!

quick pop in...ive been doing great with my workouts this week but sadly, not my eating. I think i will be happy if i lose another 25lbs but ive got to get the ball rolling here, just can't seem to get it rolling...
so with that said,im going to try yet again today to stay with in my calorie range(which isn't unreasonable,1600,gesh...) sorry for the completly selfish post..i promise i will try and catch up with everyone soon...bbl |
So lately I've been a lil over on calories maybe 100-200, but I've also been more active. Now TOM is in 2 days and I'm up 2lbs(which there is no way I actually gained that)....It sucks but I know it's TOM and I've had alot of sodium. I've still have not binged so I'm just going to go one day at a time and drink lots of water. I know i've been very stressed from exams, and I know I haven't piged out just alot of sodium too.
Thanks farn, I hope your exams went well too. I was very happy yesterday, my two exams went great! Well great as in I don't think I failed lol. The bf stayed up late Tuesday night with me quizing me for my ethics class. All engineers at this University have to take a philosophy ethics course...it's really alot of busy work. For spring break I plan on cleaning, studying, and visiting with my parents before my dad leave for Alaska. Not much fun but relaxing and I can get my spring cleaning done, the bf and I are finishing the hardwood floors and reuphostering the dinning room chairs. Well i'm off to study, i'll be back on later to get everyone. Have a great day! |
Lori, what great bargain finds! That's awesome. I can't wait to hit the resale shops when I hit the next size down, 16!
I'm back in my 18's and they are starting to get big. Kathy - welcome to the board and good luck with the challenge. 2lbs is a good healthy goal in a week. you can do it! Amelia - girl after losing 99 lbs, i can understand a need for some sort of break. whew! Good luck with the last 29. you can do it! |
Good morning everyone! I've been back on track the last couple of days and the scale this morning broke the 195 mark coming in at 193.8! I was soooo ecstatic! I set a goal to lose 10lbs by the 17th, which would put me at 190lbs. Even if I don't hit that goal, I'm going to be satisfied with coming close to it. I am, however, going to hit the C25K goal I set forth. I do my W5D3 run on Saturday, which is a 20min run. When I get through that, I start W6 on Monday. Woohoo!!!!!
Let's do this girls! We're in the home stretch!!! BTW, thank you to those who responded to my question about long distance relationships. I truly appreciate it. KDM AMAZING job on completing C25K! I am truly inspired by you! Nightangel I had TOM visit on Saturday, better last Saturday than this Saturday I suppose but it still felt like that was going to set me back on one of my goals as well. We'll see what happens. Like you, I'm glad I set other goals to work on achieving. Stay positive. And stay OP and the scale will move. Good luck sweetie! jdonato Gosh darn TOM! That 2lbs will be gone soon. Sounds to me like it's definitely water weight from TOM and from being more active. I'm so proud of you, btw, for being binge free! I knew you could do it. Oh and I'm jealous you have a spring break. I wish I could take a spring break from work. :( |
Oh and to Lori - awesome finds while thrifting!! Thrifting used to be one of my favorite things to do when I was a smaller size. I can't wait to be able to do it again and find cute, vintage items to add to my closet!!
|
Katy - I was in a LD relationship for 2 years. Mind you, we were only 4 hours apart (260 miles) and not the distance you are. It's hard stuff. We did it for 2 years and I eventually moved to him. We've been together for 8 years now and married for 3. We have a lovely 16 month old son. It can work, it just takes love and trust and understanding.

Hi everyone, I am almost up to my limit on calories already and it's not even lunch yet. Now what?? No lunch? No dinner? Lori- Your a sweetheart, you'll be in your 150's and at that 100 lb mark in no time. I know you can do it!
