Yes, I do. Right now, I have a container of iso-pro low carb strawberry on the go. I've been using water, frozen spinach and frozen fruit. It's nice and keeps me full for a long time in the morning. For about 200 cals and 36 gms of protein.

My next container is Nutrilite Whey Protein Powder, Vanilla Ice Cream Flavour. Two scoops of that will give me 220 cals with 50 gms of protein. I chose vanilla so that I could continue to add fruit.

I've used these kinds of drinks for years. I cannot get myself to eat breakfast so they work well for me.

ETA ... that's not what you asked was it But yes I have used them for inbetweenies too. It's an easy fix.

I use it mainly for breakfast because I have a really hard time eating breakfast. I use a protein powder called Aria. Its only 80 calories with 14 grams of protein. I just mix it with 8 0z of water and drink it.

I use Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural. I usually mix some ice, whole milk, powder and drink it right after doing weight lifting. Maybe it's psychological but I definitely feel that my muscles recover faster if I drink a protein shake right after weight training.

I've found that the ones I've tried tasted gritty and I just couldn't handle it. Do the ones you guys have mentioned taste gritty? I'd prefer one that just doesn't taste like anything at all! Is that possible?

Gritty? I don't know, I slurp mine through a straw.
Very few that I've tried actually taste very nice. I think that's why I always add fruit.

The one I use (Aria) is a chocolate flavor. They also have vanilla. Its not very flavorful. But I drink it pretty fast so I don't really care what it tastes like.

Well, I consider myself the protein powder Queen. I have had every brand under the sun!

KDuffer mentioned ON (Optimum Nutrition) Natural and I have found that it is the best in terms of mixing properly! The only problem is that it only comes in vanilla or chocolate. The non natural one comes in a big variety of flavours. I have also recently ordered BSN lean dessert from the US (they don't sell it up here in Canada) and have heard great things - but it hasn't arrived yet so I can't confirm! Your biggest problem is also probably the type of shaker you use. Get one that has a proper lid, a top for under the lid (that separates it), as well as a metal ball that goes inside. Works like magic!

*Just checked the site again, looks like ON comes in strawberry now too! Ick! I'd stick with vanilla or chocolate anyways. Vanilla is the best since you can blend it with fruit, oats and oil to make a whole balanced meal. I use chocolate for baking.
