Good day to all! I am usually on the Weight Watcher thread, but I have decided to count calories for awhile for a change of pace and try to work independent of WW for awhile.
Do you all grant yourself more calories in your day when you exercise? Or, do you stick with an allotted number of calories per day no matter what? Also, is there a web site you are using to dictate the proper number of calories you eat in a day? Thanks! |
I use sparkpeople.com and LOVE it. If you go on the site and put your current weight, goal weight and how fast you want to lose it, it will tell you how many calories you can have. You can keep track of your food and exercise on there too.

I use an iPhone app called Lose It! to track my calories. I eat a specific amount per day, but I don't fret if I go over. I don't "eat back" my calories burned through exercise. I do the treadmill on a steep incline 3 days a week and the ab/strength portion of the 30 day shred on alternate days. Welcome, welcome....the calorie counters are a bunch of fun chicks! |
