One Week Challenge
 
Ok I have fallen off the wagon, hard! I know calorie counting works, its the only thing that has but if I stop counting for a while then I have the hardest time bringing myself back in line.

I wanted to know if anyone would be willing to just do a challenge for this week, checking in everyday with yesterday's calories and any exercise done.

I have the summer to get myself in line before I start an intense program at my college in the fall (I am a mom going back to school). Also I will be in front of people often since my job is in the public eye so I really want to get myself into good shape as well as healthy.

So for this week my challenge to myself is simply to count the calories and write down my exercise, if you specifically have a goal you wish to meet for amount of calories eaten then feel free to put that down too.

My Goal: Track Calories (amount doesn't matter) and exercise at least 3 times this week.

Feel free to post your calories here and help keep me accountable so I can build up my habit again!

I'd love to! I'm hoping to lose 2lb this week (no change for the last week cause of "that time") so I could use some encouragement too! :)

Calories - 1393
Exercise - 1 hr. fast walk

Tuesday
Calories - 1093
Exercise - 2mile express Leslie sansone DVD & 45 min. walk

Wednesday
Calories - 1103
Exercise - 2 mile express DVD & 1 hr. walking

Thursday -
Calories - 1134
Exercise - 1 hr walking, 2 mile express DVD

Friday -
Calories - 1143
Exercise - 2 mile express DVD

I love these types of challenges. I'm in. Stay within calories (1300 - 1600; 1700-1800 for weekends), 8+ glasses of water, 3x a week gym.

Monday:
1450 calories
More than 8 glasses
1 mile walk

Tuesday:
1600 calories
More than 8 glasses
2 mile walk

Wednesday:

I'm in, but I have to start today, since I've been sick for 3 days.
Is this Mon-Friday, or Mon-Sunday?
My goals this week:
Lose 2lbs
Stay under or at my alloted calories of 1455 per day
Do my strength/ab training 3 times this week

Monday:
Sick and went to bed at 9:00 and lapsed into a Nyquil coma

Hmm never done one of these lets see, my goals for the week are:

Stay within my calorie amount (1250), go to gym 6x per week, work on increases cardio time at gym, drink more water, and not go overboard on girl's nite out this weekend:)

Monday:
100oz water
1200 calories
45 Minutes of Core and Legs with Personal Trainer + 30 Minutes Treadmill

Tuesday:
80oz water
1240 calories
Group Kick Class + 20 Minutes Elliptical

Wednesday:
100oz water
1200 calories
45 Minutes Personal Training Session + 40 Minutes Treadmill

Thursday:
100oz water
1230 calories
30 Minutes Bike + 30 Minutes Treadmill

*So good So far!

Tuesday Calroies: 900 (I know!!! Way to low, not sure how that happened)
Exercise: 30 min hard walk (up hills)

I'd like to give this a shot, I was totally good yesterday and consumed 1210 calories.

I've been 3 pounds from my goal weight since the end of May, and I would love to knock off another pound (or 2) before June is over. I wish I could say that I'm on a plateau, but I can't because I have not been staying on plan very well on the weekends. Basically I've been wiping out all my weekday hard work by over doing it on Sunday....gurrr. I guess you could say I've been in maintaince mode before I've reached my goal. I think if I could make it an entire week by staying 100% on plan. (1200 weekdays/ 1500 weekends) I could put a small dent in the final 3... :) ( I really want to lose 8...but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!)

Monday: 1210
Tuesday: 1205
Wednesday: 1300
Thursday: 1190
Friday: 2500 (oops)
Saturday: 1190
Sunday: 1180
Average calories for the week = approx. 1400/day

Going to try it again.

Monday: 1190
Tuesday: 1210

Thursday: 1210

I just figured we could set it up to be Monday thru Monday or Tuesday thru Monday.

Its just a place to come and be accountable every day or every other day for each day this week. I have to get someone to hold the whip over my head since the carrot (weight loss) isn't working right now.

I keep doing this too, wiping out my weekdays of eating really well by having a bit too much fun on the weekends :) Gonna try to work on that this weekend!

Tuesday:
I did my 30 minutes on the treadmill, and ate 1431 calories! I'm under..yay...
Although I got on the scale this morning and it said 214.5. I thought "that can't be right" so I got off then back on...and landed at 216. Bummer!

I would love to join in. My challenge will be Wednesday-Wednesday since I love on vacation next Wed. I weigh 168 I believe.

exercise- CLX lean 1 43 minutes plus 20 minute turbo jam.

Woot well my calorie count was horrible and I didn't get any exercise in but I did count all my calories yesterday (that was my goal).

My calories were 2500 (hubby took me out to dinner at thai :) I mean :P )

Great Job Lori Bell! In the scheme of things those last 3 pounds aren't really that important, I look at what you have achieved and have hope!

Joining in and I'll run mine Wed to Wed! Current weight 256.
1500 calorie a day goal

Already today:
breakfast: fresh fruit, cheese and crackers 331
lunch: Sandwhich and french onio soup 465.
Leaves 700 calories for dinner and it'll be tough. Had to fast this morning for bloodwork so packed my breakfast for afterwards and was starving 20 minutes after I ate it! Now I just had lunch and I'm still hungry! :( Might have some oatmeal later as a snack...

Excercise: 5k walk with some jogging

This Saturday's going to be the worst as I'm going to a family wedding shower and my aunts are all amazing cooks. Be strong. Be strong.

I am now *just* below 140 - 139.8 this morning! So excited! I've been tracking using SparkPeople. They recommend my calories be between 1200 and 1500; I am always just below 1300.

Well another day under my belt, its already easier to remember to log my calories. That is the hardest part for me getting back in the habit!

Calories 2100
Walked 2 miles fast paced
did some situp and plank/downdog for arms

Determined hope everything is ok, glad everyone has a place to come check in for whatever they want.

Dinner last night put me up to 1480. Did 5k yesterday walking. Aiming for 1500 each day.

Right now I'm at 421 for the day. Of course I didn't weigh my grilled onions on my salad I just put them at 20 calories so there is some guesswork on this. :P Bad Angela. I've really got to get back in the habit of weighing and measuring everything. Might or might not take a short walk tonight if I get home before dark. Been putting in a couple of hours of overtime a day everyday this week.

Well failed miserably at keeping calories in control but kept count as was my ultimate goal, I know from the past once I get into the habit I soon feel so shamed at the amount I eat that I naturally cut back.

Its awfully hard to face the truth sometimes :)

Funny enough though I lost some weight, I have been at 193 and this morning I weighed 191 so I really must have been blowing it before I was counting :P

I did great this week too.. Worked out 5x, stayed under cals all week (actually had to snack to eat up to my cals) and have lost 2lbs this week so far... Official weigh in is Monday, so we'll see where I'm at then! ;)

Scale this morning gave me that .5lbs back!! Since I started this one week goal thingee on Tuesday, I'm giving myself a couple of days but COME ON!!!
