Hi.

Most of my success in the past (starting pretty much over again after gaining allot of my weight back) has been from a good long walk (usually 2.5-3 miles) each AM. I did occasionally get into other DVD's and such from time to time but I always kept up the walking and I know it is the one thing that really worked and continues to work for me.

I love to listen to books on DVD or old books on tape when I walk.
NOW I want an MP3 player so I can download books.

Walking has been my main form of exercise for years (when I've done it faithfully). I've never done anything else and when I've done it routinely and daily, it's been sufficient for toning, slimming and great cardio for heart health.

I would like to add upper body (to get rid of upper arm flab). But, I've never considered "just" walking to be ineffective. It just makes me feel better all over and is a great way to clear mind clutter!
