June Weigh-in

  • Hey! I thought I'd start a separate thread from the general chat thread so we can share our successes without needing to catch up on chat and respond to everyone.

    05/28/09 - 246.0 (-5.4)
    06/04/09 - 243.6 (-2.4) (-7.8 total)

  • well i have only been on my diet for 2 weeks now (started 5/27) but this is what my WI's have looked like:

    05/27: 170 (Starting Weight)
    06/03: 167.0 (-3 lbs)
    06/10: 165.5 (-1.5 lbs) (-4.5 total)
  • 04/04: 212 (Starting Weight)
    04/06: 209.5 (-2.5 lbs yay water weight! lol)
    04/20: 207 (-2.5 lbs)
    05/04: 202 (-5 lbs)
    05/18: 197.5 (-4.5 lbs)
    06/01: 191 (-6.5 lbs) (-21 lbs total)
    Except for the 2nd weigh-in where I was checking for water weight, I only weigh every 2 weeks. My loss amount can vary drastically depending, so I just kind of go with it.

    Congrats, cincimom11 and fashinjunkie09! Keep up the good work!

    My next weigh-in is 06/15 so we'll see what the scale says then!

    I'm down 7lbs in 3 weeks, thats 1 lb over goal yay! congrats cincimom thats an awesome loss!

  • Today is my one month anniversary for starting calorie counting. I've been kind of discouraged the past couple of weeks because I haven't lost anything. I lost 7 pounds, but I have gained 1.5 pounds back of that. I am not sure why because I have never gone over my calories and I exercise at leats 5 days a week.

    If you've never went over your calorie level and exercise 5x week, that 1 1/2 lbs is muscle mass!!! That's *GOOD*!! Helps your bmr therefore burning more calories 24/7!

    Really? Thats makes me feel a little better. I can tell that my clothes are a tiny bit looser too. Thanks!
  • I gained a pound this week. We spent the weekend in Louisville, KY, fro my cousin's graduation party. My aunt is an amazing cook. My goal was to make healthy choices without counting calories. Oops! I ate waaaay too much.

    06/24: 162.0 (-1 lb) (-8 lbs total)

    not as much of a loss this week as i wanted (thanks TOM) but i am still averaging out at 2 lbs a week and thats alright with me!

    I've been calorie counting for 6 weeks.. 17lbs down.. Pretty good I think!
