Default Fiber powder questions, (maybe TMI)

So, I am a big fan of Fiber One cereal. I eat a bowl of the Honey Nut flakes (52% of the daily fiber) almost every night as a snack, and love how it makes me feel in the morning. It "cleans me out" and leaves me feeling good, and "empty" It also tastes great.

However, this being said I would like to have this same feeling and NOT have to eat Fiber One EVERY night. Nothing else gives me the same results the following morning.

I was wondering if anyone here uses the fiber powder you can mix with drinks and not taste it? If so, can you taste it? Does it "work" for you in that way? Which brand do you buy and how much, how often?

what i prefer is sugar free citrucel, mix one scoop with 8oz of water, its orange flavored and taste great, BTW its very effective too!

What about a more organic way......Psyllium husks. You can mix it with orange juice, cereal, soup anything really. It's great and will really keep you regular! You can find it in most health food stores! Try it! You'll love it!

Benefiber really does disappear, even in plain water. Seriously.

I've never tried fiber powder. I can tell you today that after having broccoli and lots of it for lunch and a fiber one bar this afternoon that I'm good for the day

I wish that stuffed worked for me. Any kind of added fibre, fiber powder or Psyllium husks totally has the opposite effect on me. Yes I am drinking enough water with it, for some reason my system just does not like it at all.

Have you tried tracking the number of fiber grams you get in a day? Eating high fiber natural foods should have the same effect. Yesterday, for example, I had about 35 grams of fiber just from eating whole wheat bread, whole grain cereal for breakfast, bean tacos for dinner, veggies, fruits, etc.

Thanks for your suggestions ladies!

I do believe I get enough fiber per day, but Im just odd about liking to feel empty each morning. I was never this way prior to losing weight, but now that I know the feeling, its amazing!

I think Im going to try some Psyllium Husks first. Im all about the natural way before I go the powder in drink route. Prior to posting this, I didnt even KNOW there was a natural way, so thanks so much!!
