Default What is the lowest calorie alcoholic beverage I can get at a bar?

Hey all and Happy Sunday!! I have an event at a bar coming up soon and am wondering what to order (besides seltzer) that won't put a dent in my calorie allowance. Is there such a thing as a 50 calorie per serving alcoholic beverage? What would you order?

A 4 oz glass of champagne contains 78 calories.

A 1.5 ounce shot of flavored vodka and club soda has about 85 calories.

Other than light beers, that's probably as low as you're going to get.

there's Miller 64 (64 cals)
there's also a Michelob Ultra that I think has 95

A word to the warning, losing weight really does make a difference in intoxication. You can't drink as much as you did in the 200's.

I barely drink anymore, but when I do it is a vodka and water (with a lime wedge) in a tall glass.

Whiskey and water will cost you less than 70 calories. Or get an ounce of a good whiskey on some ice and just sip at it.

I don't think there's anything that won't set you back about 100 calories for a 1.5 oz shot, but getdrunknotfat.com is a really good resource for calorie counts of pretty much every kind of alcohol there is. If you mix with seltzer or diet soda, like everyone's saying, you won't have to deal with sugar calories on top of those 100 calories. 100 cals/drink isn't CHEAP, but it's doable. Good luck at your event!

Some type of spirit (vodka, bacardi etc) plus Diet Coke would be the lowest option.

But if you are going to treat yourself to alcohol, if I were you I'd order something I liked and accept a few more calories. I always feel cheated if I have something unsatisfying and it cost calories. One or two glasses won't make too much of a difference.
I'd rather have 1 glass of something I like to drink instead of 2 glasses of something average.

I have a related question... I currently have a hangover and have been eating hangover food all day :/ Does anyone have any suggestions for healthy food that helps you get rid of a hangover and tastes lovely? I'm looking for things for future reference

I drank Friday night, as usual too much. My tolerance must be lower cause I has 5 drinks over 4 hours and was beyond buzzed. I don't know if it helped but I drank chia seed with water at the end of the night hoping it would absorb some of the alcohol. I only slept about 5 hours and was ok other than being tired. I don't know what will help the day after sorry. Hope u feel better soon.
