cool article about saving calories I thought I'd share
I found this cool article on msn.com today about ways to save calories most of the info is pretty basic. but i thought it might be great for some beginner calorie counters to look at . I really enjoyed some of the tips

That's pretty nifty! I'm just starting to "calorie compare," (I'm planning on trying to swap high-cal foods out of my diet and watch portions instead of counting every calorie, but we'll see how it goes!) so I'll be printing this out and sticking it to my fridge!
Thanks! :) |
yeah I'm going to print it out as well! there was some good little ideas there..! I think It's really good for people who are maintaining.. or just trying to learn how calorie counting works!

I am a calorie counter and I count every calorie that goes in my mouth. I would rather do this than go back to being obese. It's not that hard , just takes planning.
|
Thanks for posting--I just read that in WHealth a month or two ago. I am with Bargoo. It takes some planning but it's the way to go for me.

I already do everything that is applicable, except the beer thing because American beer is nasty and not even worth the 64 calories so fug that.

Great info

Great article -- lots of good idea. But I tell ya, if I'm eating cake, there's no way I'm scraping off the icing!!!
|
So THAT'S why the corner brownie tastes the best...who knew?!
|
thanks
Thanks for the article!

Great article - I knew a lot of this stuff (the obvious things), but a few things were surprising. Wendy's baked potato with only sour cream has more calories than the small fries? Who'd have thought? Thanks for posting it!
|
I know! I was surprised by that too! the small fry being less! and the corners and crusts do soak up more of the butter and oil and what not so there is more cals in them.. it makes sense !
|
I agree that this is good for everyone, not just beginners. Nice tips! I also have become a junky for splitting food. My poor spouse never gets his own serving of dessert.
|
That was a great article thanks for the tips!!
|
haha I always make my hubby split things too!
