  • Strawberries! I cut up a 1 lb box (my store has had them on sale lately) and munch them throughout the day. They never last longer than a day.

    Bananas

    Dry Cheerios

If you cut up a potato into shoestring sized strips and shake them in a ziploc bag with 1/2 tsp of e.v.o.o. and bake them they resemble fries just enough to make me happy
  • I eat snacks all day long, no standard traditional meals.

    Recently I like:
    • Plain yogurt mixed with sugar free syrups and topped with wheat germ. MMM! I eat a quart of plain yogurt a day, love it.
    • Grilled veggies on the Foreman for a quick bite. Just spice them, wrap them in foil and plop in for a few minutes.
    • Hard boiled eggs and/or hard boiled egg whites
    • Raw veggies, any type
    • Egg whites, cream cheese, salsa and a low carb tortilla
    • Chicken breasts are super easy on the Foreman and super low calorie at 110 for 4 ounces. More satisfying than most 'snacks'.
    • Sugar free Jello powder mixed with cottage cheese. Lime sort of tastes like Key Lime pie.
    • Can o' tuna, sardines or herring
    • Cheese! I don't care what kind, as long as it's not fat free. Bring it on!
    • If I've gone over calorie budget and am still hungry Miso Soup is cool. Salty, but nice.
  • Laughing cow cheese
    almonds
    apples, grapes, bananas
    Fiber One bars
    cherry tomatoes
    popcorn
tablespoon of peanut butter (amazing how filling it can be)

    Those are my usuals.
  • Some days I like to graze all day, so these snack suggestions will be great.

    But now I'm hungry!
  • Popcorn. I always have it in the house. I also like the jello pudding cups. In the summer i love berries. Cottage cheese is good, as is greek yogurt. Cereal too, i don't eat this for breakfast because its not filling enough, but for a small snack its good. Bars - Luna and cliff bars are my favs.
  • Right now I'm digging sunflower seeds, to my partners chagrin.
  • Baby carrots dipped in refried black beans and salsa
Baby carrots dipped in roasted red pepper hummus (I mix in some oat bran to the hummus for some extra fiber)
Small apple chopped up mixed with greek yogurt and cinnamon
    Big salad
  • Strips of nori
Apple slices w/thin slices of very sharp cheddar
Baked or stewed apple with cinnamon
Defrosted frozen blueberries with FF yogurt
    Fresh raspberries or pineapple chunks
    Fresh papaya or melon
(part of a) microwaved yam or sweet potato
    Grape tomatoes
    Wasa bread spread w/LC cheese
  • I have gotta try this laughing cow cheese i keep hearing about. I really dont care for swiss cheese slices, is this different?
