I started out walking, and it's great! I am running now. I am doing a 5K in October, and that should be a snap since I am running about four miles four times a week. I love running.

I love a good group step aerobics class.

I've been working through the New Rules of Lifting for Women and I love it. I started it earlier this year and then wound up travelling for business and fell away from the program. So I restarted it this past week.

I love to swim, but usually, I do the Cybex arc trainer. I also like the rowing machine and the step mill. But, what I like the most is to stay in bed and eat bon bons, but that ain't happening!

I love the results I get from weight training, but it's not something I usually look forward to doing. I'm always glad I did it when I'm done though.

Running on the other hand, I look forward to. I love my long run days where I just put on my music and zone out. it's cathartic or something...

When I started out, I walked everyday for anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour, depending on my schedule. I recently joined a gym and like to ride the elliptical machine because of the way it has no impact on my knees and ankles.

I love the DVDs by The Firm (they combine cardio and weight lifting). There's another website I use to get a 90-day rotation using their DVDs. I've been doing the exercises since the end of May and I'm still loving them!

Love my bike, love my punching bag, love lower body, chest and back strength training and sort of love rocking the elliptical so hard the machines will make terrible noises.

I ride my exercise bike everyday, and in the beginning I kind of dreaded it, but now I look forward to it. I have a deal with myself that the only non-educational TV I watch all day will be during my 30 minutes to an hour on the bike or during my strength training -- then I use my DVR to record shows I want to watch -- like Grey's Anatomy, etc. If I do not finish a show or movie while I am on the bike or during my strength training, I have to wait until next time to watch the end. Now, I often cannot wait to get on there! And it frequently keeps me pedaling longer so that I can see the end.

THe rest of the time, if I watch TV, it is CNN, C-SPAN, PBS, etc. Yes...I am a news junkie... Oh, and this rule does not hold for "movie night" with my husband, of course. That is snuggle time, and it is sacred...and often leads to, um, exercise anyway.

I also LOVE to hike. We will often sit down with our boys on Friday night and study a hiking trail book and choose a new trail for the next day -- and then off we pile the next morning for a new adventure...weather permitting.

I started with WATP tapes. They are definitely a good program to start with.

I love strength training - it's probably my favorite thing, then biking. Love to bike.
Running.... I am not totally sure I love running. I love how I feel after I run, and after I have been running for a while (usually start getting the runner's high after mile 2 ).

My bike! I love riding my bike, especially when I manage to ride instead of drive and I save money. Nothing like saving money, getting excercise and getting to where I am going all at once. And it's fun!
