Default Large Weight loss in beginning?

Okay, so I started my calorie counting on the 14th at 174 pounds and I had to take a peek today and I was SHOCKED to see 170! My goal is to lose about a pound a week...roughly 5 pounds a month.

I used to do Atkins and when you first start you lose a lot of excess water weight, so I would lose about 10% of what I wanted to lose in the first 2 weeks...but I didn't think it was the same when you count calories.

Did anyone else experience this?

Hi! It's common to lose more weight right at first, and it's not just on Atkins. Just be thrilled and enjoy! Things will likely slow down at some point.

Oh this is fantastic!

I have never EVER given 100% to anything other than my attempt at Atkins, so I had NO idea what to expect. lol

NOt to mention, TOM is lurking so that's not bad at ALL!!!

Thanks
