  • Tinky, I think raccoons are adorable and unfortunately they like the taste of fresh chicken, namely chicks. My choice is to move him to some other wooded acreage but this is one thing I am not given much of a say in. DH takes them so I don't have to see it or even hear it. I am an animal lover plain and simple and even seeing him in the cage bothers me. That is why DD moved him. She has a little of both of us in her. She loves animals but nothing kills her chickens.
  • Still ~ I hear on winning the lotto but I don't think I want to be rich, to much responsibility. I would rather just be wealthy. LOL! Rich people have people crawling out of the wood work asking for money but you can hide wealth a little.
  • Good Afternoon all. I thought I would pop on here before I leave work.

GrammyL- Sure...blame it on me. LOL! Honestly, if I didn't play around so much on this plan, I would of been farther along. LOL! I was stuck at some numbers quite a few times. You know what though, we're a bunch of losers. LOL! We are all going to end up winning the race, we may not finish all together, but we will make it. If I got a nickel each time someone complimented me on my weight loss, I would be rich. LOL! I do love the compliments, it helps me stay focused and it helps me keep going. But for every compliment, there is one insult.
I do like raccoons, but not when they get into my garbage can.
I am only speeding along because, I have a big wedding to go to next week, and then when I come back I get married almost exactly a month later. If that isn't motivation enough I don't know what else is!? LOL!

Still-if I had money, you probably would see me with a personal trainer, and probably on Dr. 90210 getting a little nipped, and tucked around some choice spots. LOL! But we're all doing it the healthy and appropriate way. We'll get there.

Well I am off for the weekend. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Wish me luck in our cancer walk. I am going to attempt to run half of it. LOL!

I learned to say no to my mooching relatives long ago. Doesn't matter if I had one dollar or 20 million I would still say no lol.

    Still
If I had the money the one thing I would do would be to put the cousins back where they belong lol.

    Tinky
Is the very reason I go to good will. Clothes are cheap there. It can be very expensive if we buy new clothes for every size we get into. I have a to do list everyday ( so does everyone else in the house ) and I do not sleep until everything on the list is done. This cleaning is special. It includes scrubbing walls and ceilings and things like cleaning out the crawl space. Things that only get done once a year. We are also remodeling the down stairs 1/2 bath.

Sorry things have been so rough for you. I too understand about wanting to be where I should have been before I started taking the meads. We just can't think that way. We will make our selfs crazy. All we can do is stay on track and the weight will come off.

I will have everything done and my hair and nails done by next Friday morning. I will be gone for three days. You know what my house is going to be like when I get home Sunday night lol. It won't be bad, the kids aren't that bad BUT it will not be in the shape I left it. Company gets here Tuesday afternoon ( the 8th ). That means I will have Sunday after I get home and Monday to have everything done again lol. I gave myself this month to not exercise like I was so I had plenty of time to get everything done. I told myself starting the 7th I have to start to exercise back on schedule. I have a feeling the 7th is going to be a very busy day trying to get all the exercise in and get everything caught up lol.
  • That is what I am talking about SHY...putting the "girls" back! Gravity is a PAIN especially when your dealing with gaining/losing weight...

Agreed! One thing I hate is that you can't pick where the weight comes from... sometimes it comes off in places where you want it to stay, and it stays in places where you want it to come off. Let's just say my chesticles are shrinking, and I'm left feeling a little deflated. When I get to my goal weight I think I'm going to have to... you know, replace the lost volume.

I wish mine would go away. In 52 pounds I have gone from a 42 to 39. Bra size is from a 42 d to a 38 d. I am lucky I have most of my bras hand made for me so they fit nicely. I can't find store bought bras that really fit nice. I only buy the sexy bras lol. I only started out at a 34 B lol. They just won't go away. When are the darn things going to leave? Everyone complains that is the first place they lose weight. I am losing all over pretty evenly and I wish they would just go lol.
  • Shy- who makes your Bra's? Maybe I need to check into something like that. I have fluxuated from a 44DD to a 36C to a 38DD to a 36DDD

My poor "girls" do not know where they belong anymore. And they are heavy so they are droopy

From my first training bra they were hand made for me. The lady that made them retired and now her daughter makes them. She is getting older now and only has about a dozen of her old customers that she makes them for. I have no idea what I am going to do when she just can't do it anymore.
  • Hello all!
Bras really are a pain, aren't they? I find one that I like, and then after I buy several of that type, I don't like them anymore.

My niece's wedding was very nice. My hubby became ill on the way, so we turned around, brought him back home, and then I went on my own. I didn't do bad with all of the food, and I used up lots of calories on the dance floor! What fun!!! My left knee and ankle are paying for it though.

I have class in the morning, so I'm still sticking with it. Need to pay more attention to the calories. I think I will be lowering the number for several days.
  • Good morning, all!

I've been away from calorie counting and the gym for a year which led to a ten-pound gain. Amazing how quickly you can get out of your groove.

So I'm back to this, looking for the 119-pound mark and all the joys it has to offer.

I'll post my calories tonight. Doing so makes me accountable and it's actually quite fun.

    Have a good day, ladies!
  • Tammy-I am sorry about DH not feeling well. That sux! I hear ya about dancing then the ankle/knee paying for it the next day...that is how I am too.

I am ok today...just got to work and thought I would catch up. I have to drive to my DR tonight for my appointment tomorrow (5 hour drive). I get my splint off and get my regular cast on (WOOHOO). I am excited, my leg itched SO bad last night. I think it is the stiches, they are surely ready to come OUT!!!!
  • Hey all!! The weekend we had was too hot. Well too hot for Seattle. LOL!
The Cancer Walk was real nice, but as I kept going you could really feel the heat! ugh! I ran the last leg of it. Just to get it over with. I got a pretty busy short week ahead of me. I am trying to take care of things at work before we leave Thursday for CA. I did a fitting of what I will be wearing to the wedding, and everything fits way better now. When I first bought the strapless dress it didn't fit as well.

Bras- Ugh, I hate it at times. I went bra shopping last week, and thought maybe I shrunk to another cup? Nope, still a D. But not a DD anymore. LOL!
I would love to give my girls a lift though. If I were to have a cosmetic procedure done that would be it. I am with you guys on that one.

Shy- I think having a list is just so awesome. I wish I could get into the habit of doing it more often. I will have to go and look at thrift stores when I come back. There is really no sense to buying new pants when I keep dropping sizes. LOL!

Still- Itching of any kinds sucks! Good luck at your Dr.'s appt!!!

Diva- Hey lady!!! Welcome back!!! Once you get into the groove, it will be easy!

Drina- Your comment cracked me up! LOL!
  • Still and Shy ~ My doctor already told me that if my girls are not smaller after I lose the all the weight then something has to be done about it. He feels that they are causing posture problems and eventually back problems that can be prevented with them being made a normal size.

I am still a DD. The size around keeps getting smaller but not the cup. I hope mine do what Tinky's do and shrink at least into a D.

Tinky ~ Amazingly with this program I stay on plan all week and then the weekends I end up playing at least one meal which can be a disaster. That is one reason I don't weigh in on Monday's. I give my system a day to normalize as much as possible after the weekend. I remember you have your big day coming up and I would be in a panic trying to get as small as I could before the date just like you are. For me, I am just sick of being overweight. I am 40 years old and have had a weight problem since I was 12, before that age I was to thin. I am just tired of fighting it and its time that it just happens.

Still ~ You are healing amazingly fast. Good to hear they are switching casts already and its nice to see a face with the name. You are beautiful!

Diva ~ WELCOME BACK! You always lose so fast when you get determined to get it off.

Well I better get going. I just finally got a little break here at work. Monday, I think that says it all.
  • GrammyL- Amen to that. I can do so well during the week, but then the weekend comes and bam. Though I managed to maintain and not gain, so I guess I am happy. But I want to see something below 161, I can feel it. IT's getting so close! LOL! I am not panicking now, but will after I come back from the wedding. LOL! Because after that I only have 1 month!

Bras- Again, I may have to go get fitted, I have no idea what I wear.
