Help?! Calories in a 3.5 oz chicken sausage?
I bought a package of Italian style chicken sausages at the store last night, but they aren't marked as to the calories and I'm having a hard time figuring out what to put into Fit Day. The package says "with broccoli rabe and romano cheese". Anyone have any thoughts? I'll happily add a custom food, and I don't mind guesstimating to a certain degree, but I can't find a good place to start.
Thanks in advance! This one has me totally stumped. :dizzy: |
I'd guess around 175 calories, depending on how it was prepared. How odd to not have the nutritional info listed! I thought that was illegal.

I find with raw meat (they aren't pre-cooked) there is rarely a calorie label, probably because it depends how they are cooked. I put them on the Foreman grill though so I wouldn't add any more calories.

Ok, I'm an idiot. :D I just noticed on the BOTTOM of the package in the trash, the nutrition info is stickered on. About what you said it was, 150 calories. I ended up entering in Fit Day 3 oz ground chicken and .5 oz romano cheese and that also added up about right.
