Welcome to the club of 'people who should REALLY buy a food scale'... I think I'm the club leader.

Sorry that I can't help.

Could you not just count the number of slices in a pack then go from there? Thats the only way i can see that you could figure it out without scales!

Oh, i didn't explain that very well. All you need to do is count the number of slices in the pack and then devide the weight on the pack by slices then use the average weight of a slice and then divide one ounce by how much one slice weighs?

Not sure what brand you buy but the Oscar Meyer brand that I have lists how many slices approx a serving and then lists calories per serving.

I just bought a package of turkey breast that lists the calories per slice - I really appreciated that!

Nope - mine only says that a serving is 2 oz, and lists the info for that...oh well...I'll count slices the next package I buy

The label should tell you how many servings are in the package. Even though you have a partial package, you may be able to estimate based on how much seems to be left (half a package, a third, etc.)

Yes...there are 6, 2 oz servings. I am estimating for now: 2 slices = an ounce (my hubby thinks that it's probably more slices than that, but I'm being safe, and I only eat a slice or two every few days anyways...I guess it's not that huge of a problem!) Thanks for all the input!!!
