Default I've been eating instant oatmeal all day...

There is literally nothing else to eat. My bf took my well-balanced lunch for the day to work with him (although there were 3 servings there). I did go to the store to get some much-needed groceries. I ate oatmeal with a glass of milk for breakfast and dinner. I still counted my calories. Does it make a difference if you eat carbs most of the day? I'm hope not!!

Beats starving to death. Just get back on protein and fiber when you can and don't worry about it

For one day, it's no big deal. And oatmeal is a whole grain (although quick/rolled oats would be better than instant and really aren't much harder to make), so it's the good kind of carbs. And even instant oatmeal has around 4g of protein and 3g of fiber per serving (depending what brand you buy and what the manufacturer considers a serving to be). But you don't want to eat like that every day, of course .

Time to have a talk with the boyfriend...

One day is OK, but you may be feeling hungry because of so much carbohydrate and so little protein. Just eat better the next day.

I did end up getting some chicken and fruits in. I did my grocery shopping for the week so I'm set till next Sunday. BF made a fresh fruit cocktail for me last night so I didn't get on his case about the lunch theft.

I find I have to put notes on things if I want them saved for my diets. My stepdaughter comes every other weekend, and she will eat a whole box of something and never stop to think about saving some for someone else. My H will nibble away over a period of days at stuff too, and then I'll go to get it and it's gone. He can eat a whole can of almonds by himself, and then complain that he can't button his pants.
