I ate out at a restaurant in Gainesville called Grill Masters. As is often the challenge with eating out, I was unable to find the calorie content of what I ate. While I've learned it's a generally futile effort, I emailed the establishment with a list of what I ate, asking if the caloric value was known. Of course, I got the typical "we do not have this information available" email.
But wait, there's more! The email continued to say that he (the manager) would ask his executive chef for a list of ingredients and they would figure out the calorie count FOR ME, but that it might take a few days, and he hopes I am not inconvenienced by the wait.
That's unbelievably great service- above and beyond the usual! How awesome.
I wish and wish that more restaurants would follow that example. I'd be happy to patronize establishments like that. I so miss an occasional Houlihan's salad.
That is AMAZING. I'm going to start e-mailing restaurants asking for calories, or maybe an ingredient list so I could calculate it myself. Never even thought to do that with non-chains!
As soon as you get the results you should find someone higher up to let them know how impressed you are with that service. Someone should be commended.
We have calculated the meal you had the last time you visited grillmasters. the Stuffed mushroom appetizer was total calories of 460, it was 115 calories per serving (based on 4 servings). Chicken Versasi pasta had a total calorie count of 2110 calories. Chocolate lava cake was a total count of 610 or 305 calories per serving (based on 2 servings). bread is 110 calories per 1 in slice and the light ranch dressing is 80 calories. I hope this helps.
