Default Which calorie counting book do you use?

I bought one the other day to keep in my purse from Border's and I'm not liking it at all...it was the only one they had and it fit in my pocketbook but it's too hard to find things quickly.
I can use online sites, but when I'm not near a computer I want to be able to look things up, especially restaurants.

Which one do you use?

Thanks in advance....

I don't use a book. I look online for the rare count I don't know. Which book did you get?

Soul Bliss: I bought "The Ultimate Calorie Counter" by Sheila Buff
It's just not set up for easy searching. I do go online when I'm near a computer.

Thanks Bargoo...I'll have to go to Barne's & Nobel near me to see if they have that one..
I'm going to return the one I got a Borders today

I stick strictly with on line resources - I have to be very strict with myself as far as staying OP so I look everything up before I go out and plan what I'm going to be ordering. That way I'm not tempted to say "oh look, that brownie is only 400 calories. I can have that and skip breakfast tomorrow"

Bargoo - thats the one I use too! I also use the accompanying 10 week food/exercise journal. My doc's office sells them.

I've used many other kinds before. The Corrinne Netzer ones are good, but rely too much on brands and packaged foods, leaving the reader to have to guess which one is a good comparison. The Calorie King one has general avg all brands numbers for most common foods at the beginning of the section.

I use Corinne Netzer and really like it...it does rely alot on brands though, I guess maybe it works for me because I happen to use the ones listed
