Default to much lunch

I havent done very good today. We ate mexican last night and i limited myself to 12 chips and had salsa with them(no chesse dip). I ordered fajatis last night and brought over half of it home for today. I had coffee with flavored creamer today and sugar , ran out of splenda.I had my usual bowl of cereal and half of a bananna. I got a bag of valentine candy this morning from the little boy I keep. I at 2 peices(no clue on calories in it, was like gourmet chocolate). I sent the rest to school with my daughter to share with her friends. I just had the rest of the fajatis and 2 small shells with them. I had planned on only eating half of it...but i ate all that was left over . I am really full...and know I will really have to limit my calories tonight... oh yeah i even ate a few chips again( about 6 or 8). Guess this will be a lessoned learned. I cant control myself very well with mexican food. Its gettig close to TOM and I wonder if that is why I was so hungry.I had been doing great...GUess its a salad and steamed veggies for dinner.

Don't beat yourself up too badly! TOM and Mexican food? Heck, I'd be all over that too!

Go home tonight and have some lean protein and your steamed veggies or salad. It's just getting back on the horse and knowing that it's ok if you fall off once in a while.

Maybe, if it'll make you feel better, throw in a little extra exercise today or tomrrow? I know if I splurge, I'll sometimes try to add in 10 or 15 mins on the elliptical machine or the treadmill just to help with the additional calories (and to make myself feel a little less guilty).

I agree, stuff happens. You can't beat yourself up over it. It's all about getting back on track. And there's nothing wrong with a little mexican food!

maybe i should have titled this bad choices. I still dont know why I ate that candy.....im not even a huge chocolate fan. Hubby is going to redlobster for lunch and meeting our daughter who is in college there.....maybe im feeling cheated because i dont get to go. They go eat every few months. Its good for them to have time together.

Try to see the positive instead of the negative here: You only ate 2 pieces and handed it on, rather than mindlessly eating the whole thing!

I try to focus on those positive things I do ... it helps me to not give up and binge!

I guess your right at least i didnt eat it all. I also didnt pig out on chips and cheese dip(my weakness in life). I usually eat my larger meal for dinner and I just had it for lunch instead today. I will try and do a little more exercise today. I lifted weights last night and only do them every other day so will have to walk today or jump on minitrampoline during american idol.
I plan to increase my water intake today to help flush out some of the salt from the salsa. Thanks for the kinds words,,,i needed them today
