  • I'm practically invested in the 100 calories smart pop mini bags.... I have one of those after dinner almost every day. It's my mindless eating.. done safely.

I always plan my dinner in advance.. even if I do it the morning before... or during my lunch hour at work. Usually I've got my dinner calories and even evening snacks entered into fitday before I even get home in the evening... it has really helped me keep my evening cals under control.
  • Actually, I know exactly how you feel. What I do is have a very light caloric breakfast and lunch (usually veggies for both meals) and then splurge about 8 or 900 calories on carbs and protein for my dinner and dessert. Also, drinking ur 8 glasses of water/liquids throughout the day also can help temper your hunger pains somewhat!
  • All of these tricks are helpful and will work. I have the same problem and plan to have a snack every night around 8-9. It gives me somethign to look forward to but it is planned with my daily calories. I usually have a cup of hot tea too which helps because it takes a long time to drink so I feel like I'm having a lot.

But what you really need is the motivation to do it. It's hard. You will be tempted and hungry. But when you want to lose the weight, you can do it. You have to be ready. The latest saying that's stuck in my head is:

If you are ready to lose weight, will find a way. If you aren't, you will find excuses.
