Yikes! I have no idea how I would deal with having something like that. I lurve me some green stuff! But it sounds like you know exactly what you are doing. I'm sorry you have to deal with this, but glad that sound like you are dealing with it wisely.
I'm also glad you liked my suggestion. Pouch packaged tuna is pretty diet friendly, tasty, and good for you. I always keep alot around. And fruit is always a good idea!
I live in mid Missouri, in a pretty rural area so I don't have access to/knowlege of the stores you mention. I get most of my food from either Shop N Save or Walmart. So my suggestions might be somewhat limited.
One thing you might want to do is go to the deli, get 3 oz or so of sliced turkey or lean ham, a slice of lowfat cheese, and some olives and make yourself a little antipasto plate. Check out the frozen food section, some of the 300 calories or less frozen meals are pretty good. Go to the cheese section, get some lauging cow light, two or three servings of fruit, and go nuts with that (guilty of doing that myself, alot). See if any of the stores sell packaged fruit and yogurt smoothies. Get some refried beans, torilla, and salsa and make yourself a burrito.
I confess, when I walk into a store, my problem isn't "What in the world should I eat?" but rather "There's so many things in the world to eat, where do I start?"
