1. Be patient. The more you lose, the slower it becomes. It is very common for the last 5 pounds to take months to come off!
2.) Exercise more, OR increase the intensity of your workouts. If you walk for 20 minutes on the treadmill, start doing 30. If you do a video with 3 pound weights, start using 5 pound weights. If you use an exercise bike-then increase your time, or the intensity a bit. If you are doing Walk Away The Pounds 2 mile dvd, buy the 3 mile one. Whatever you are doing for exercise, you have to increase the time, or the intensity every so often if you want to see more improvement.
3.) If you are eating between 1200-1500 a day, count up your calories for 7 days, and divide it by 7. This is going to give you the average (per day). If your average is closer to 1500 a day, then try to get your average closer to 1300 instead.
4.) Cut the junk to 10% of your calories. 300 calories of junk (fat free pudding, 100 calorie packs, etc.) is equivalent to 1/4 of your diet if you eat 1200 a day. 300 doesn't sound like much, but when I look at some people's diets, it IS a lot percentage-wise, if they only eat 1200 a day. Cutting junk down to 10% makes a big difference. 120 calories for 1200, 150 calories a day for 1500, etc.
5.) Eat more produce. Eating more of your carbs in fruits and veggies, rather than breads, rice, etc. makes a big difference in a lot of people.
6.) Be patient. I know, I already said this, but it is important.

It isn't uncommon for me, and many others here, to not lose a drop for 2-3 weeks, and then lose 2 or 3 pounds the very next week.
