Default Just saying hello!

I was doing low-carb off-and on for a while, but I quit that back in January, and now I am on to just plain ol' diet and exercise. I am counting calories, with FitDay to keep track of everything. I love that I can log what I eat, and it helps me to see what I need to improve on.

My highest weight ever was 258, and that was right before I gave birth to my daughter. She was born in Nov. '04, and I joined WW in Oct. '05, where I weighed in at 242. With WW and low-carb after I quit WW, I got down to 220, which is where I stayed for several months and where I started with this current regime.

I just feel different on this plan... like I am really going to stick with this.
So, I just wanted to say Hello, and that you might be seeing me around

Welcome!

I've always loved good ol' calorie counting. We know what we have to do to get the job done, without any fancy rules, don't we? LOL

Welcome Kelly

You came to the right place to get help and support.
and Fitday is great. At least for the calorie part.

I don't take much head to the calories it say I burned.
That part does not seem to match any other website.

Good luck on your way to your new goals. You can do it.

Hello & welcome.
Like you, I started out doing a revised version of low-carb, I did lose some weight but was tired all the time. Luckily, a couple of nice gals & guys gave me good advice. All I needed to get my energy up was simply more carb in my diets. I got off low-carb and switched to calorie-counting since then. It has worked wonder for me.
This is a great place to get support and info. People here are helpful and kind.
