Default COnfused on how many...

Calories I need to LOSE. SO many differnet sites, so many different opinions, some as high as 2200 some as low as 1300. Whats a girl to do? I try and juggle them, but its highly frustrating. 1200 gives me headaches and turns me into witchywoman, to high makes me feel BLAH. I cant seem to find a great middle ground, and yes, I know its a proccess, what works at 250, doesnt work at 220 and lower. But I am really struggling to find that niche for now and dont know why.

I know I sound like a broken record, but trial and error is THE only way to figure it out. According to the standard times your weight by 7, and I think you all know what I think about standard calculators, they ummm suck, pardon the harsh language, you should be eating about 1500 calories. You say 1200 leaves you with headaches, well then don't eat 1200. I surely couldn't or wouldn't put up with headaches.

From what I recall you eat pretty healthy? Correct? Mostly whole foods and the such? Low fat proteins? Fiber? Veggies? Avoiding sugars? Because that is also key. And you are exercising as well? I think you are if I recall. I'm sorry, maybe you could refresh our memory so we can help you better.

But why don't you play around with the 1500 calories and see how you feel on that? And of course see if you are losing at an acceptable pace. I know it's hard, but keep trying and you WILL get it. Wait a sec, you have lost tons of weight, you have obviously been doing something right, no MANY things right. We do have to keep on tweaking though as we go along on this journey. Shake it up a bit. Add more fiber, change around your exercise routine. Zig zag your calories. Hang in there, you have done so very well to this point, there's no reason for you not to continue to do so. EXPERIMENT.

I was excersizing 6 days a week, even if it was just a walk/stroll with my family for 30 minutes a day. I have really slacked off on that and have recommitted to getting back into it. I do eat pretty healthy, although I had a few days of serious splurges, I've reined that back in. No added sugars, whole grains, loads of veggies and fruit with lean protien tossed in. I thought the 1200 would help me "atone" for the splurges, but I've realised, I can't atone, all I can do is get back on track. The other thought for the 1200 was that the sudden increase in garbage food and calories made me want even more. I was kind of using the 1200 to help reinstate the good habits. I think it was to sudden a drop. I know if I stick with more protien and fiber I feel fuller, longer. So, I'm back to that. I think part of it is I am just so anxious to have the rest of the weight gone, yanno? It'll happen when it happens, as long as I stay on plan. I do note however, losing those last 7 pounds so suddenly seem to have thrown me into serious overdrive. It's like now I know I can lose weight fast and be healthy I want to do that, I also know, NOW that it was a fluke, once my body adjusted to the smaller weight, it let some excess water and fat it was holding onto just in case, go away. It can't always be like that.
