I was so OP yesterday except I fell for that 2nd glass of wine and therefore gained a pound. Yuck. Will be better today. Started out great with a ww tortilla, 1T PB and a small banana wrapped in it. (Thanks to Glory for that recipe!)

I mentioned that to my mom as a breakfast option (remembered reading it somewhere here)..SHE is HOOKED!! She either has that or oatmeal now for breakfast!!

My kids are in a "peanut free" school, due to a child there with a severe allergy...has anyone ever tried the banana wrap recipe with soy nut butter???

Actually thats what my mom uses soy nut butter, the brand she bought tastes just like peanut butter (I think it was the walmart brand). My 12 yr old nephew who doesn't normally like "healthy" foods LOVES the soy nut butter!!

Is soy nut butter any lower in fat or calories? Where do you find it? I'm willing to try anything new!!!

I am new here. I have never had a WW tortillla. Are they bought frozen? The rest of the breakfast recipe sounds pretty self explanatory... perhaps adding a little splenda mixed with cinnamon would add a little more life to it :)

You can buy whole wheat tortillas in the same place as the regular ones (but my store kind of hides them in the corner). I like the LA Tortilla ones because they are a bit smaller and only 50 calories each (and 5 grams of fiber). There are other brands that are more like 100 calories, but they're bigger.

Justme ~ Fantastic on the loose 12’s!!!! I can’t wait till I can say the same thing.

Zoe ~ Wow, be careful if your not feeling well from lack of food. Remember you have that little one your trying to care for.

Theresa ~ WHOHOO! Your doing fantastic!

Allison ~ The tortilla, banana and peanut butter sounds fabulous. I used to eat that when I was a kid but with bread. YUMO!

Calories: 1832 OUCH! Boredom and tired, not a good combination.

Another thing that I did yesterday was I forgot my flash drive that has my journal on it. Usually before I allow something to cross my lips, I make myself log it in and face what my calorie count will be. Often I put it back. Last night, I didn't have my journal so I keep justifying that it will all be alright. As you can see it wasn't alright.

By the way I make the type bigger for those that have a hard time reading the smaller print.

They do like to hid the good stuff don't they. :chin:

Usually its the top shelf or bottom shelf. Top shelf I am in trouble because I am so short.

THATS what I usually get...BUT last time I was at Walmart they didn't have them, instead they had 80 calorie ones....Same package as the 50 cal. ones, a little bigger though....I couldn't find the 50 cal. ones anywhere!! I was thinking maybe they stopped making them...I loved the 50 calorie ones with a little spray of I can't believe its not butter, splenda and cinnamon...

Thanks for looking out for me, Grammy! :) I agree. Its hard to find the perfect balance with my low activity (at this point) and the mega breastfeeding.

My lofty 1st goal is to be down to 180 by my six week check up, and I was 195 this morning. Wooohooo! I think I can do it. That will be 50 pounds lighter than my last weight at the doc's office, and 30 pounds left to lose to pre-preg weight. :carrot:

That sounds yummy~ Do you heat it in the microwave first? I do with the PB--for about 10 seconds and then add the banana.

aphil 03-22-2007 12:58 PM

CoolMom-I recommend that you take your calories to 1800-1900 calories. If your baby is nursing exclusively (no cereal, formula, etc.) then your body is using about 500 calories a day making breastmilk. An 1800-1900 calorie level diet would equate to a woman not nursing eating 1300-1400 a day.

Do this for a few days, and let me know how you are feeling. :) A mother nursing exclusively should not eat below 1800 a day.

YEP!! I usually microwave a few seconds after I assemble it...Soooo yummy

delarimi 03-22-2007 01:13 PM

boy do I have to learn the lingo here! I thought WW was weight watchers! ok, so rethinking this, what is the LA tortilla?... and how many calories and what size tortillas are we talking about. that is question #1, question #2 is how do I get one of these weight loss strips that I see at the bottom of all your posts?
