Hey everyone, so I am working really hard on losing the weight, and I'm feeling really good about it. Haven't been the most faithful with exercise the past 2 weeks, but I've been pretty much on point with my low-carbing and losing well.
But lately I've been noticing that my boobs are feeling a bit bigger. At first I chalked it up to the inches I've lost around the boobs just making them look and feel more defined, but now I'm noticing some newer stretch marks. And they look less flat than they usually do when I'm wearing a bra. I'm just not really sure what is going on, I've never had very large breasts, even when I was at my highest weight they were not all that big. Anyone have any ideas?
first, are you sure you arent pregnant?
doesnt sound like it, so have you been doing any chest area exercises? maybe its possible you gained muscle. very interesting. idk.
My good friend is actually going through the same problem she lost weight and had to start buying bigger bras!!! I was so jealous!! I mean c'mon she was already a DD and had to go to a DDD! Maybe its muscle gain in the chest which makes them sit higher.
Are you eating more soy? Perhaps more salad dressings that contain soybean oil. (It's in almost every salad dressing) Soy is often used as an estrogen replacement therapy because of it's estrogen like properties. It also mimics estrogen like side effects. The increased use of Soy is thought to be one of the reason girls are entering puberty (and experiencing breast growth) at younger and younger ages... BTW, I have nothing against soybeans, we have 80 acres of them planted on the farm. I do know that soy is also one of the main ingredients in the various "breast enhancement" pills on the market.

Cup size is relative to band size. For example, the cups on a 32 D bra are not the same as a cup on a 42 D. If she's had to go down a band size, she may have to then go up a cup size. Also, changing brands makes a huge difference. A Victoria's Secret DD is like a C in most other brands. My A cup friend jokes that shopping in VS makes her feel like a porn star because it's the only place she breaks the B barrier
swtbttrfly, someone else has already asked but...are you pregnant? And if you're doing chest exercises, what are they? I would certainly love to be um, fuller.
Funny that so many people mention pregnancy, I keep joking with my roommates that I must be pregnant! But there is literally no way I could be preggo so that's not it. I haven't really been working my upper body out much, so I don't think it's muscle, and I don't take any birth control. I have been eating a bit more soy lately, but not a ton by any means.
I do know that my band size has gone down a little bit, and I have lost a little bit of overall upper-body fat in general. I guess I was afraid that I was just going to lose the small boobies I already have, but if anything they've become more defined and developed (if not larger!). My skin has also been clearer with my weightloss efforts, and I am beginning to wonder if being overweight had thrown my hormones out of wack and now they're correcting themselves and resulting in these things?
Anyway, I'm just speculating, and for the record I am in NO WAY complaining about it! I've always been smallish chested (but they've always been quite perky, a result from working as a shampooer in a salon for 4 years, I've been told) but I am kind of loving watching my body change. Hopefully it will continue the way I want and maybe I'll just have a fab rack when I'm at goal. Saggy tummy and thighs, but one sweet rack of lamb!!
My band size changed but my cup went up a size. My friends tell me that my breasts still look huge, but not as "in your face" as they were before. Interesting.

I've read this, too. Like, a 34DD is the same cup size as a 36D..and 34D and 36D are not the same. It's all relative to the band.
