Jillian's Online Program.

  • Hey All,
Just wondering who, if anyone, is signing up for Jillian's online program? I just went to her website and the link is working . I want to, but i'm not to sure about the money ( i live in Australia, so it's actually more than $4 a week for me.)
  • I would like to, but it's a bit expensive for me right now. Plus I can't even do her workouts yet, I find them too hard for me right now. I think I'm just going to stick to what I'm doing for now, I am following her food advice and I'm exercising 5 days a week, so it's working so far. I lost 4.5 pounds this week, I weigh in on monday so I'll see how much I lose then. I think if you have her dvd's and her book, you don't really need the club right now. But I think I will join maybe next month when I feel like I'm ready to attempt her videos and once I get some of the weight off and my fitness level up. I would love to get some motivation and support from others following her plan too, and I love that you get to talk to jillian and ask her questions.

Also, it's alot to pay out at once. She bills you quarterly, so you're billed like $52 U.S. every 13 weeks, with a 5 week minimum committment. So if you join, you have to stay for 5 weeks, then cancel if you are unhappy and get the remainder of your money refunded. It's the same price as ediets.com which I have done before and I liked it, you get support and your meal plans which you can switch to any meal plan as often as you like, but you have to pay extra for the exercise, so Jillian's is actually a better deal. And ediets is really annoying because they don't want you to lose more than 2-3 pounds a week. Which is a good amount, but they actually yell at you if you lose more and they up your calories if you lose more.

I live in canada, so I would actually be paying a little more for the membership too, but if you are serious about weight loss, than you can't put a price on it.

Besides, you'll have Jillian there with you every step of the way, and she'll yell at you and kick your behind if you're not working hard enough. I'm actually looking forward to that! She'll keep me on my toes and keep me accountable.

    Lisa
  • What exactly does her programme involve? I am considering joining a programme, but need to make sure it is something I can stick to?
