Default Biggest Loser

I'm new I guess I should post and intro.....I bought the biggest loser CD....I'm so afraid I'm not going to see results. I was told that I should not work out at night by SIL that the best time to workout is in the morning......so anyone used this and has seen a big difference on their body? I have a 16 month old daughter that it is not humanly possible to do this in the morning.....

It doesn't really matter when you work out, as long as you do it, any activity is better than none at all. There is a biggest loser sub-forum in the Exercise forum, where others who use the biggest loser DVD post, and from what I've read they all love the DVD and have seen and felt results from using it!

to 3FC and Good luck with the weight loss!

Kristen: Many women here have made morning exercise a part of their routine and have had great success with it. However, except on weekends (where I do exercise in the morning), I find I exercise best and most consistently in the evening. Basically the best time of day to exercise is the time you can be most consistent with it.

Cheers, Good Luck and Welcome!

I prefer to workout at night. I cant ever get up early to do it so I just do it when it fits in. I actually like nights better and it makes me sleep like a baby, others have a problem falling asleep when they workout at night. I've lost 17 lbs so far so I'd say its working! Good luck to you!

Hey - I work out in the evening because I am not a morning person at all. I have used the BL DVD for a week and a half so I'm no expert but I can definately see a difference. I do the low impact cardio 4 times a week and the sculpt and shape 2 times a week. I love it.

What foods have you been eating whilst doing the BL? And how long have you been doing the BL? I did it yesterday and it made me cry ...literally..in time I guess.

It really is a tough workout, even though it doesnt look that way. Just remember you can modify. I've been doing the workout for awhile and I still cant do all the lunges, and I modify the jumping jacks and I still dont kick when doing the knee I just do the knee. So its okay to modify, like bob says...do what your body needs, just the fact that you are moving is what counts! Keep it up I promise it will get easier.

As far as food I'm doing the Slimfast plan and calorie counting. The slimfast keeps me in control better, my goal is 1700 calories a day. So what I do is breakfast - 200 calories, snack - 200 calories, lunch - 400 calories, snack - 200 calories, dinner - 500 calories, snack - 200 calories. Here is a sample day for me:
Breakfast - FF yogurt, 1/4 C blueberries, sprinkle chopped almonds, Whole wheat waffle
Snack - Slimfast shake
Lunch - Slimfast shake, banana, mini pizza made with whole wheat english muffin, 2 TBSP pizza sauce, 1/4 C mozz. cheese
Snack - half whole wheat pita bread w/ 2 TBSP hummus, orange
Dinner - chicken breast w/ teryaki sauce, steamed mixed veggies, 1/2 brown rice, 1/2 applesauce
Snack - 1/2 C no sugar added vanilla icecream, 1 TBSP hot fudge, 1/4 banana, 1/2 TBSP chopped almonds

I've been doing BL for about 4 weeks now I think. Although last week I didnt do any exercise at all. I hope that answers your questions! It will get easier, just dont give up!
