  • Well we made it out cross-country skiing yesterday and had a good time. not too much whining from the kids

Last day of 2012! Not sure why it always comes as a shock.
I'm sure many are reflecting back on the year that has passed and wondering what will pass in 2013.

Enjoy this last day and have a wonderful New Year's Eve.

    See you in 2013.
  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

I hope all of you had a great NYE and are ready for a great 2013

Do any of you make resolutions and if so what are they
  • Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great New Years Eve. Anyone else really excited to start the frozen fiesta challenge?
Bigmid Yes i did make a new years resolution
    *Eat Healthier and learn portions
    *Exercise daily
    *Lose 50 pounds
*Cut down and or completely eliminate sodas from my diet. (including the diet ones)
  • Quiet NYE and haven't done much today, accept cough. So glad I have been on vacation so I didn't have too wonder if I should stay home but back to work tomorrow. I'm feeling better but by now you would think I should be completely over it.

No resolutions. I have the same goals set and will continue to achieve them.

Well I managed to loose 5 pounds over Christmas but I have already put 2 back on now that I am starting to feel better. Not sure what the scale will look like the end of the week or how this will affect the first week of the challenge. Time will tell.

Have a good week if I don't make it back before the challenge begins.
  • Hi everyone,
Well heading out to see if there are still any deals to be had out there.

I'm off work now for a few days and really don't want to go back:-). I need a lottery win.

I got a great workout in and am holding pretty steady over the holidays weight wise....this is a first for me do very happy.

I lost a couple pounds at the beginning of Dec put them back on and today was down 1 again do a 2lb gain overall is amazing. Usually up 6-8lns over Christmas and New Years.

Brandibooxoxo good goals for the year I'm sure you will do great with them all. As far as soda I will have one every now and then but maybe once a month or two. I got out of the habit by not letting myself drink anything else until I got in my daily water....except my morning coffee of course

EofAZ good to keep facused on what is already a good thing.

This year I want to stay focused on being healthy, include more strength training and focus less on thinking I look horrible all the time. I need to remember being healthy is the most important thing.

Well off to finish getting ready. Sorry if the are lists of spelling mistakes I'm typing on the iPhone as my crazy iPad won't hook up to Internet any more for some reason.
  • My schedule is so far off with being off for two weeks, can't wait to go back to work (so weird to say that!) but I know I will be back to my normal routine and i love normal routine!
    - Bigmid I'm with you on the focus area that you want for this year. I want to stay more positive and be happy with my healthy choices.
    - Hope you start feeling better EofAZ!!! A few friends have that cough and they say it lasts forever!!!
  • so ready for this to start
i gained 2 pounds over the holiday
    big bummer, but oh well
    im gettin this DONE
  • I'm very excited about the challenge!! Let's Go~~~~~
  • I have to admit, I'm looking forward to the new challenge too. It is so motivating to see how much you have accomplished at the conclusion of each challenge. A pound here and a pound there doesn't seem like much but added up over a 13 week period and it really drives home the point that baby steps really accomplish a lot. Actually I don't do anything different during the challange that I do between challanges but to document the beginning and end of each challenge really makes me realize how much I am accomplishing. For example last challenge I only lost a pound or so each week. A couple of weeks I did better but several weeks I was lucky to maintain but when I looked back at my starting weight and ending weight at the conclusion of the challenge I had lost 15 pounds!!! I felt a lot better on how I was progressing when I took a look at my accomplishments from a different perspective.

So, yup, looking forward to the challenge beginning. Yup Yup.
