Red Team 2012 Fall Back to Basics Exercise Thread Week 2 (09/03-09/09)
For an effective weight loss program it is important to incorporate exercise as well as making better dietary choices. While any kind of exercise is good for you, it has been proven many times over that just cardio or just strength training isn't the way to go...you need to have a combination of both, with a little bit of core focus as well. So as you plan out and track your exercise this week, be sure to get in 2-3 strength workouts and 2-3 cardio sessions. And don't forget about those abs! Monday-Hiking, 16,604 steps
Tuesday-walking 11,256 steps
Wednesday-Training run 2.69 miles in 31 min, 11,929 steps
Thursday-walking 8,853 steps
Friday-walking 10,987 steps
Saturday-Training run 4.1 miles in 45 min, 17,741 steps
Sunday- Training run 5.8 miles, in 1h1min, 16, 288 steps
Monday: 15 mile bike ride Tuesday: OFF DAY Wednesday: walk 2 miles Thursday: 15 mile bike ride Friday: OFF DAY Saturday: 20 mike bike ride!!! my 1st 20 mile non stop ride!! Sunday: 2 mile beach power walk

Monday- about 10 minutes walking, 5 minutes running (tried to run, but body said no)
Tuesday- 22 min yoga dvd
Wednesday- 22 min yoga dvd
Thursday- week 8, day 3 couch to 5k again (10 min walking, 30 min running)
Friday- 90 min hot yoga class
Saturday- lots of dancing - almost 13,000 steps per the FitBit
Sunday - lots of running around working the car show - almost 10,000 steps
Monday - 30 minutes recumbent bike, 30 minutes mowing the lawn
Tuesday - 30 minutes treadmill, walking at 3.1 and I ran for 3 minutes of that time.
Wednesday- 30 minutes weight lifting
Thursday- 30 minutes treadmill
Friday-
Saturday-
Sunday-
Monday- bike riding--2 hours 10 minutes, 30 minute ab workout, 20 minute jog (holy crap, I ran without wanting to kill myself...)
Tuesday-bike riding--1 hour 20 minutes (so far)

I'm doing terrible this week, but maybe if I start writing it down again I'll get motivated...

Sunday - 20 min Zumba, 30 min Yoga X
