This week WILL be challenging. I'm hosting Thanksgiving at my house and having relatives stay at my house. My strategy includes making "faux"tatoes from cauliflower (as well as the evil, and oh so yummy, real mashies), low carb green bean casserole and sf Jello with blueberries +LC topping. I do plan to have a sliver of my mother's "Heavenly Pumpkin Pie". I am also making a turkey and a lamb roast. Plenty of great low carb options to fill me up.

We are going away for Thanksgiving. My sister-in-law, though, has maintained several years of weight watchers so I can know I won't be the only one there...lots of support. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hey Ladies! Nice job!

I'm sorry, I got home too late to check in on Sunday night. Honestly I forgot all about it. I'm not out yet though and I plan on finishing this challenge with all of you.

I'm starting to freak out about Thursday. My husband and I are hosting our very first Thanksgiving with all of my family. How do people do this every year?!

Hope you are all having a good week

Hi Red Team,
I made it throught Thanksgiving and TOM with only a 1 lb weight gain. I thought I did pretty well on my eating, I had given myself permission to eat what I wantedand I did have a nice salad, which there is a lot left so I'll be eating it all week. There were 19 people here for supper yesterday and I thought I had cut back on the amount of food I made, but there were still lots of leftovers. All the desserts went back out the door tho, none of those left here, just turkey and ham and salad with a little bit of dressing and potatos. I love having everyone over and cooking lots of food, I spent 2 days on it and tried to make a healthier meal.
Now the holiday that I host is over and my living room is done I'm going to bring out the sewing machine and work on the slacks and vest I want to make myself out of black linen. I was thinking it would look great with a red blouse under it.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and is able to enjoy time with friends and family.

Bette- sounds like a great holiday! Well done. I can't imagine hosting 19!

Did everyone survive Black Friday with their credit cards intact?

Sarati-how do you like your treadmill? I keep looking at getting one, but DH (who is naturally thin) scoffs.

HI Red Team
It looks like everyone is busy having a great weekend, I think I'm the only one here today. So Happy First Sunday of Advent, I put together an Advent wreath andtonight we will light the first candle.

Mel- 19 is pretty easy, of course everyone brings something and I finally have a place big enough for everyone to gathere together in. For New Year's day I'm having a potluck for my Dad's birthday, they are all coming back and hopefully DS will be home then too.

Rainbow Smiles-Nice to see your posts again, I miss your fun posts.

Sarati- enjoy your new treadmill

Wuv-Congrats for Biggest Loser!

Zogo- I hope you had a great Thanksgiving

K3LL3Y- I do it several times a year, often outside parties for the family and friends in the summer. But I do have to admit as much as I like entertaining everyone, the best part of the party is after everone has gone home and I just get to sit back and relax.

Everyone else I hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving and areall back on track for a great week.
