Default Blue Team Fall Frenzy 2011 Exercise Journal Week 2 (09/26-10/02)

For an effective weight loss program it is important to incorporate exercise as well as making better dietary choices. While any kind of exercise is good for you, it has been proven many times over that just cardio or just strength training isn't the way to go...you need to have a combination of both, with a little bit of core focus as well. So as you plan out and track your exercise this week, be sure to get in 2-3 strength workouts and 2-3 cardio sessions. And don't forget about those abs! Copy and paste the follow format and come back throughout the week to edit your original post. Let’s get busy!!

Going for 60-90 minutes 6 days and 5000+ steps 7 days

Monday- 60 minutes water aerobics, 5500 steps
Tuesday- 40 minutes treadmill, 60 minutes personal training, 8600 steps
Wednesday- 120 minutes water aerobics, 8800 steps
Thursday- 45 minutes treadmill, 60 minutes personal training, 13200 steps
Friday- 50 minutes treadmill, 60 minutes personal training, 5800 steps
Saturday- 60 minutes water aerobics, 7000 steps

I went ahead and put "planning on" on the future dates, so it's there. And I'll come back to edit to put what I actually did.

Monday- 2 mile walk during lunch hour & zumba after work
Tuesday- 2.5 mile walk during lunch hour
Wednesday- zumba class
Thursday- 2 mile walk during lunch hour
Friday- out on lunch w/gfs
Saturday- zumba class
Sunday- Bum Day

Monday- gym (squats, bp, sldl, military, lat raise, jog-walk 8 laps of each alt)
Tuesday- jog-walk, box jumps, crunches, push-ups
Wednesday- gym (9-mile bike, pendlay rows, deads, lat pulldowns, crunches)
Thursday- gym (bp, bo-row, up-row, tri-kb, bb curls, jog-walk 8 laps of each alt, push-ups)
Friday- jog-walk (1 mile jogging, 1.5 mile walking), push-ups
Saturday-
Sunday-

Monday- 30 min walk/run intervals (22 min walk, 8 min run)
Tuesday- 45 min spin class
Wednesday- 30 min strength, 35 min walk/run intervals (20 min walk, 15 min run)
Thursday- rest (just did crunches and stuff)

Monday- 1hr 15 cardio. 100 crunches, 50 sidebends w/8lb weights. 30 squats with 8lbweights, 45 leg lifts, tricepts, (2hrs in the gym)
Tuesday- off
Wednesday- 60 min cardio (595 Calories)
Thursday-60 min cardio (550 Calories)
Friday- 60 MIN cardio (600 cals)
