Dear Red Team,
I just wanted to say that I think you are THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD!!! I don't think I would have had such a successful weight loss in Jan. without you!!

PLEASE DON'T GiVE UP...THiS iS OUR YEAR!!

I have received such great encouragement and support from all of you and I NEED YOU to all dig in, and STAY STRONG....I AM DEPENDING ON YOU to help me win my war with being so overweight. I can not let this weight hinder my life anymore.

Its hard sometimes, when you feel all alone...

I AM SO THANKFUL that at any time of the day, I can come here...and NOT FEEL ALONE. I can come here and read your encouraging words and be lifted up to go another day, try a little harder, give a little more, BELIEVE a little more.

Hey all.

Go Rainbow, keeping us all motivated!

JayTee- (Sgt!) I am super impressed with your running! I dropped out of C25K in week 6. I was starting to really dread it... so I made my own walk/run program to let me more gradually build up to 20+ minute continuous runs. I do one mile continuously then walk for a while, then do a couple shorter run intervals with equal time walking as running after for 1.5 miles of run mixed in with 1 mile of walking 2-3 times a week for now.

I missed my tae kwon do class last night though. My daughter had her ears pierces about 2 months ago and all of the sudden during the 2nd kid class her ear swelled up brigth red and sore. Much drainage when I took the earring out, so we went home instead of staying for the adult/family class. It a lot better today since I cleaned it up and ran neosporin through last night, normal size, only red on the back now, and much less tender to the touch. But, I don't know if I will make up the workout this weekend. Friday mornings are leg workouts and the soreness afterwards tends to disincline me to weekend workouts.

Anyway, enough rambling from me... keep up the great work everyone!

Sindaena - I will be the first to admit that I don't really "enjoy" running but for me it's what really helps take the pounds off. What's worse, I really don't enjoy running outside--I know weird, right? But, I hate the elements...rain, wind, too much sun exposure, I like to have my towel handy, gum, fan blowing on me...I'm such a prima donna. I do love my son, however, and I had to make sure my ears were clean when I heard my 320lb boy say "I think we should run this race." So...it's off to the races! Keep running for you tho. Don't try to put any "time" constraints on it, throw out stop watches, and just do it to enjoy the success on the scale!

Rainbow--I love the fact that when I'm tempted to start nibbling I know I can grab my computer and find some inspiring words from you throughout the day. You have no idea how many calories you save me in a week!

Madame Gooey--You continue to crack me up daily. I love your sense of humor with the recent posters. Me thinks you and I are very much alike and never again am I gonna look at that delicious popcorn goo machine in a movie theater without thinking of you.

And for those you you reading these posts who don't join in the fun, feel free. We don't bite and we'd love the company. It seems a bit odd that there are like 1,000 views of these pages but only 100 actual posts. If we inspire you, that's great, but come join us!!!

Happy weekend peeps, but please no one go AWOL! I don't want to have to send the MPs after you.
