Nixmom, giving up smoking will be the best thing you've done for your health. Probably even better than losing weight but they are both going to help you live a long and healthy life. You are to be commended.

Good evening ladies! Hope you all are having a decent day!

I am so happy the weekend is here! I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow! It's been a tiring week, and I haven't been sleeping the best for the past few nights. Otherwise, I am OP. My body seems to be responding to the calorie zig-zagging...I've had lots more energy, better calorie burn on my GoWear, and the scale is heading in the right direction again as we approach weigh-in this week!

I haven't got any Superbowl plans...not really a football fan! All I know is that it is going to interfere with my plans to go grocery shopping this weekend! I'm sure the store will be CRAZY!

Thinnerbyjuly~ I was saying don't give up, and that I quit the daily weighing because that metal monster drove me crazy with the ups and downs.

Nixmom ~ Awesome on quitting smoking. I still smoke, cut down quite a bit, but still have that monkey on my back.

Mercy~ glad everything turned out good for you!!

Janelle~ hope you're staying. Was going to suggest that if you have a public library and are out and about you can use their computer to sign on 3FC and post in peace. :hug:

Selina~ keeping positive thoughts that they get in gear on the adoption and hoping your dad is doing well.

Gosh I can't remember who else I had quoted to respond too...:mad: sorry. Someone mentioned doing the 30 day Shred, I tried it. Jillian was saying " I don't care if you weigh 400lbs you can do jumping jacks", so I'm doing them and my knee ended up popping and omg! the pain, so now I don't do jumping jacks and haven't done the shred since. lol I guess I could do it and modify the jumping jacks like I do when I do the other BL workouts. That's why I like Leslie Sansone's dvds, they're easy on my knees and they do give me a good workout. But I have all the biggest loser workouts and like doing them. I think my favorite is the weightloss yoga one.
I did good this week on my workouts, made sure I got in 30 min. Monday and today I got in 60min. Tomorrow, not sure, my 8th grader has a wrestling tournament. Those are all day events, I do walk around the gym cause the bleachers kill my back. I'll look for my pedometer and wear it and get some laps in. :)
Well speaking of my oldest I gotta go pick him up from his friend's house. Hope everyone has an awesome OP weekend!!! I'll be back Sunday morning. :grouphug:

Just a quick check in! Today has been a crazy busy day! My oldest son had school and swimming with school, youngest had preschool, both kids had dentist appointments, and I had to make a cake for a party at my inlaws house tommorow! Each cake takes me about 6-7 hours including baking time. Phew! So my eating has been kind of unhealthy today, but not bad claorie wise. I am so proud of myself though because during my baking time, I only had one taste of the chocolate buttercream to make sure my measurements were right (I eyeball!). I ate some cuties (clementine tangerines) tonight...I think, 3 of them. I think if someone offered me cuties or a pint of ben & jerry's ice cream, I would eat the cuties.

I have been having a hard time eating all my calories...heee...

@babygrant - Beautiful cake! I also bake and love to decorate cakes! I recently got in to making the royal icing flowers, they are so much fun. I've done a lot of marshmallow fondant stuff too. Nothing beats straight up piping though!

I woke up with terrible neck pain this morning. Hello ibuprofen and hot packing! I have no idea what I did, but boy oh boy the muscle is in quite a spasm. I will definitely be taking it easy today.

Happy Saturday morning!!!!!
I hope everything is good with all of you. I have been really up and down with weight this week and it's frustrating as I did so well last week. On tue morn I was down .4 (not bad for 2 days) then Thur I was up 2 now down 1.8 but that still leaves me up from last week by .2 so I am aiming for lots of water drinking and eliminating today.:) I keep telling myself (as I have been good with food and exercise this week) that it is from donating blood on Tue and all my water drinking is staying in my system to replenish it again.

It is an absolutly beautiful day outside sooooo sunny (but still -16) but I think I am in for the day as I need to do laundry and get ready for a scrapbook convention in March so lots of cutting out to do.

Okay now for some personals I will do them in a second as I can't see all of them from here so going back to take notes. Talk to you in a second.

thinnerbyjuly - that's great that your blood sugars are down:carrot: and yeah on the loose jeans

retiredone - I have no plans for valentines day (single) and friends are all busy, make sure to stay out of the ruts this weekend:)

Doragone - I'm glad that you were able to watch the tapes and be happy about seeing them. It really is a good idea to transfer them to DVD or CD they will last longer than the tapes.:hug:

Mercy03 - I'm so glad the results from the colonoscopy are good and you don't have to do it again for 5 years. You are right this really is a good group.

dayoneagain - I agree with your thinking, I too have to get used to the idea that this is not going to be a super fast fix. But if we hang in there through the ups and downs we will succeed. I also know that it is sometimes easier said than done. WTG on staying OP the 4lbs will be gone in no time. :hug:

Mageorge - good for you for resisting the doughnuts and keeping up with the exercising. I think I may need to try the 30 day shred as alot of you are talking about it. WTG on the 3lb loss.:carrot:

I hope I can follow suit and soon. I agree those little clementines are cute and so super sweet. YUM!!! I wish I had a hard time eating all my calories, I eat mine and then want to eat someone elses too.:D

babygrant - please make sure you have some sort of snack with you at all times. It must be a little scary when your sugars drop that low. Subway cookies are sooooo good but yes so high in calories ( I actually thought even higher) good for you for adjusting your supper to work them in though. Your cake is so pretty. Good for you for only having a taste of the icing. I eat to much I LOVE ICING. I took the wilton classes this winter and love to decorate cakes. I love doing the flowers my piping is just so-so.

Soon2BeFitChick - how is you dad doing? I hope you get those boys soon July is a long time to be waiting from. I hope your pound down holds I'm sure it will you have done so well.

Shcirerf - sorry to see you go I think that you need to do what I right for you. Make sure to stop in when you can just to say hi. I hope your situations improves.:hug:

Nella - I love the treadmill I wish I had one at home. WTG on the running that's the perfect way to build up your endurance for running.

Echo - WOW that is hard core taking in 1600 calories and then burning 1000. I could never do that. I know you'll make your Birthday goal.

ars - I'm glad that your zig zag calorie intake is working for you that's great. I too got to sleep in today. Don't you just love that feeling of getting up when you want not when you have to. Sorry about the neck pain though hope it feels better soon.

Catsgetnhealthy - Ouch popping out your knee that must have been very painfull. Good luck I hope they win their tournament. WTG on the exercise.

Cape Breton Chick - how has it been going back to work? are you feeling any stronger yet. Don't you just hate when computers have a mind of there own.

hi blue team! hope everyone is well!

i just want to say - I WANT TO EAT ALL DAY LONG! i'm getting my period in a couple of days, and i just cant stop eating, or thinking about food, or wanting food. my strategy of only eating 1600 calories is not working so well! already have gone over my calories yesterday and today. i know right before my period i get really hungry and cant control it. (i know the biological reasons behind it, but i still cant control it)

have already eaten all my calories for today, and EXTRA, so no dinner tonight! will have to have a fibre drink instead.

so far today - i had a breakfast , studied for my driving test, then i did jillian michales banish fat boost metabolism (great workout!). and then had lunch. and its been 2 hours so now i'm going to ride my bike and burn 500 calories. and in between do walking so my butt doesnt fall asleep, and also do test questions for my driving test.

Thank you Bigmid for your personal message as as you can tell from the above, not doing so good on only eating 1600 calories. but thank you for the encouragement!

thurs went well , 1600 calories and burned 1000 calories. but friday and today, ate 1800 and 1900 calories respecitively. yesterday burned 860 calories (2 workout sessions, p90x kenpo X, and then exercise bike).

i'm trying not to be too hard on myself as i know what im like before i get my period.

so my plan now is to jump on bike to burn 500 calories, and then treat myself with a nice bubble bath. my friend bought me this bath bomb thing, that fizzes, so i've been saving it for a special treat, so thought why not pamper myself tonight! and then will watch vampire diaries :) so will be a nice evening. and hopefully get my mind off FOOD!!!

confession i ate 3 pieces of chocolate from a chocolate box. gah! after i had lunch - which really upped my overal calorie intake for today (currently have eaten 1962 calories - which was breakfast and lunch) so no dinner tonight! - i will be okay as not feeling hungry and will pound the water to help.

okay so i'm going to publicly declare will not eat anything more and just have my fibre drink. its 7pm. i just gotta make it till bedtime hahaha. i feel like i'm a food-aholic. actually i am a food-aholic. i love food, and am addicted to food.

thanks for listening! i might come back if i get tempted and write instead of eating.

Well, being sick is great for weight loss, don't know which is worse, sore throat or counting calories. Anyway, i'll be posting a loss this week instead of a gain, so I feel better in that respect - even though I feel sick otherwise. Oh, and the tapes I was talking about were just audio tapes, I wish they were video, and I MIGHT have some of those, but that's another day of going through stuff which I'm just not in the mood for now. But just listening to all the kids was a lot of fun. Take care you crazy kids, talk to you later.

just did my bike ride, burned 500 calories. gonna take a bath now :)

feeling abit frustrated at myself, cause have realised everytime i get my period i always show like 158lbs on the scale, and its been like that since december. the lowest i ever saw in december was 154lbs. but really struggling to get back down there. but i suppose i have been slacking with food calories and exercise last month. so hopefully february will be much better!

oh well. wont think about it, just keep focusing on exercising and watching my calories and hope one day i will get back to 154lbs again and then can continue to hit 150 by end of feb. even though right now, i feel my body just keeps resisting.

whoever said those last 10-15lbs are the hardest, was so right.

ok vent over. i know its TOM and hormones thats causing me to feel down for no reason.

going to perk myself up now, with a nice bath and watch a dvd, that's my reward :)
