Blue Team Week 3 Challenge

  • So, let's get Fall of with a bang this week for our 3rd challenge! I'm going to go for a bit of a different challenge, a self-motivating challenge if you will.

    My challenge is to do one good thing for yourself each day and compliment yourself each day. For example:

    Monday: Activity - Took 30 minutes to read a book and relax.
    Compliment - I am a great wife and step-mother.

    If we all put ourselves in the right frame of mind, we can accomplish anything we set out to do. There are no restrictions to what your activity or compliment can include. Whatever makes you feel good bout yourself (i.e. Running for 10 minutes straight, a pedicure, a hot bubble bath, etc.etc.).

  • Monday: Activity - Made meals for the week

    Wednesday: Activity - Slept in 15 minutes
    Compliment - My flower gardens are very pretty this time of year

    Thursday: Activity - Walked 5+ miles even though I was tired
    Compliment - I can do anything I set my mind to, including dropping this weight!

    Friday: Activity - Date night with hubby!!! yay!!
    Compliment - My legs are looking much more toned, I can see the inches lost now.

    Saturday: Activity - Went to a festival in town
    Compliment - I'm a great wife

    Sunday: Activity - Bought a new book and read.
    Compliment - Even though the scale is up this week, I'm not going to let me quit. I am not a quitter!
  • Monday: Activity - Let myself call in sick, slept in.
    Compliment - I am keen to other people's feelings

    Tuesday: Activity - Cleaned the **** out of my bedroom and bathroom! The kitchen is next.
    Compliment - I am a very organized person.

    Wednesday: Activity - I napped at lunch for a bit, and tonight I'm doing kickboxing, and I WILL NOT flake.
    Compliment - My hair looks kind of hot today, even if a bit wild!

  • Monday: Activity -Bought number for house and nailed it in place.
    Compliment - I'm a self sufficient and competent woman!

    Tuesday: Activity - Finished making 26 pints of applesauce!
    Compliment - I'm a great cook. I'll tackle anything in the kitchen.

    Wednesday: Activity - Warm bubble bath and colored hair
    Compliment -My hair looks great!

    Thursday: Activity -Walked in the warm rain and was blissfully happy.
    Compliment -I don't need material wealth to be happy.

    Friday: Activity - Shopped and bought lots of fresh vegetables.
    Compliment - I have good secretarial skills.

    Saturday: Activity - Had dessert but stopped with one piece.
    Compliment - I sing nicely.

    Sunday: Activity -Made popcorn for supper but didn't use butter or margarine but pan spray and butter flavored popcorn salt. Yummy.
    Compliment - I am happy to be me.

    Monday: Activity - Met up with my two best friends and went to a nice french restaurant.

    Compliment -I succeeded and passed my PhD today! I am worthy of being called a Doctor of philosophy. No more thinking I am a fake phd student, and not worthy of the title of Dr or that i would never achieve passing my PhD and fail. all those demons inside of my brain and hauntings of people doubting my ability are gone !!

    Tuesday: Activity -I rested and relaxed and caught up with my fellow friends who are doing a PhD to show them each underdog has its day.

    Compliment - I am intelligent.

    Wednesday: Activity - I rested and caught up with all the threads and the lovely people on 3FC

    Compliment - I am proud that I did not give up.

    Thursday: Activity - I worked out for 1 and half hours first thing in the morning with no distractions and going to watch the biggest loser episode 1 season 8

    Compliment -I am getting fitter and stronger

    Friday: Activity - met up with my friends and relaxed

    Compliment - i am a good friend and i listen well

    Saturday: Activity -i took the day off from exercising and let my body rest

    Compliment -i am no longer a mouse and stand up for myself when i feel hurt or misunderstood, or not listened to.

    Sunday: Activity -spent time with my family and chilled and web chatted to my cousin in america.


    Compliment -i'm a good listener and i sincerely care about other peoples feelings and want to help people to either lose weight or work on their personal development. i'm passionate about helping people reach their full potential and weight loss goals. and become healthier.

    Thursday: Activity - I AM going to run/walk tonight with a friend. And I'm going to make it 6 miles, twice around the lake, and NOT 3. Even if she has to leave after once around, I will keep going!

    Compliment - I made really good shredded chicken and saurkraut and I'm very proud of myself... although it was just 2 frozen chicken breasts, and saurkraut with some juice nuked in a crock pot for 4 hours, but it tasted SO good, so I'm just proud that I threw it together w/o knowing how it would really come out.

    Compliment -Decided to put extra time in at work to be chairperson for our fall carnival(we don't get paid for overtime). It's a long story but had an issue last year with PTO and doing the carnival. Proud of myself for overcoming petty issues and putting myself out there again for the sake of the students.
