  • No details yet, I just want to ask that we all go ahead and post our goal for this week. In minutes, please. For example I intend to exercise ____ number of minutes this week. The week will be Monday-Sunday.

    Keep in mind the following reccomendation if you are just starting an exercise plan:

    The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends that all healthy adults ages 18-65 should perform at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise 5 days a week. (150 minutes)
  • I plan to exercise 385 minutes this week.
  • I'm starting with 150 this week. Just getting back into the groove.

    Monday 9/14 30 minutes walking, 15 strength training 45/150
    Tuesday 9/15 35min walk 80/150
    Wednesday 9/16 Dinner with Gramps - 0 min 80/150
    Thursday 9/17 30 min walk, 15 strength 110/150
    Friday 9/18 4hrs housecleaning = 60 min 170/150 !!!!

    My goal is 420 minutes (~60 minutes a day) of exercise (monday - sunday).

    My Exercise minutes clocked in:

    Mon - c25k training 50 minutes. bike 11 minutes: >>>>total for today= 61 minutes

    Tues- total = 33 minutes.

    Weds- = 31 minutes.

    Thurs- rest

    Fri-rest

    Sat- 33 minute c25k - 36 minutes. total = 69 minutes

    Sun- p90x yoga X - 1 hour and 32 minutes (92 minutes)

    Goal exercise minutes = 420 minutes

    Total minutes done = 286

    Remaining minutes = 134


    did not meet goal.
    I was 134 minutes away from goal.

    I plan to exercise 240 minutes This week. Maybe more but it is TOM week and it tends to kick my butt so...

  • I'll ease into this gently. I'm committing to 150 minutes.

  • Goal for the week: 250 minutes of exercise

    Monday: 40 minutes bike

    Tuesday: 50 walk, 60 minutes stacking firework, 45 minutes bike (10k)

    Wednesday: 58 minute walk

    Thursday: 60 minute walk (grocery store, mall, etc. no formal exercise. Must have shopped for about 4 hours so I think that would be equivalent to an hour of brisk walking.)

    Friday: All day marathon of work...

    Saturday: No exercise

    Sunday: 45 minutes bike (12.25k)

    Total minutes: 358

    Tues - 50 minutes (3.5 miles)
    Wed - None Surprise In-law visit
    Thurs - 70 minutes walking (5 miles) 15 minutes Wii Fit
    Fri - 20 minutes ballet DVD, 15 Minutes JM DVD, 60 Minutes Walking (3.5 miles) I had exercise ADD today, lol
    Sat - Active, but not "exercise-ish"
    Sun - 60 Minutes Walk/jog (4.5 miles)

    275/300 complete
  • 150 minutes for me
  • My goal is going to be ambitious because I exercise once I get into it. So, I am going to workout 630 minutes this week. That's about an hour and a half a day.
