Hey everyone. Weight loss total for the week is now 2 lbs! That was my minimum I was hoping for this week. Today was pretty good. I ate well, and I'm pretty sure I aced my test today in Comparative Psychology. My dad fixed the elliptical today so I'm planning on going spend 15-30 minutes on it before bed. Then I'll wake up early and exercise some more on it tomorrow morning before class. I've been drinking plenty of water so hopefully I'll lose more before Monday's official weigh in. I just hope I'm not getting sick, my throat has been hurting most of the day. I guess only time will tell. Goodnight all

Happy Friday to you all. I am so happy so many people are posting by the end of the last challenge there were just a few of us left posting but it was easier to keep up with everyone.

Not to much to report. My official weigh in is tomorrow so hopefully another pound is gone. I have been quite bloated lately so I am working on that. I did squeeze into some jeans I have not worn in 3 years. I am happy I can wear them but what drives me crazy is they are actually abigger size than the jeans I wore earlier this week. I wish sizes were more regulated. I have worked diligently this week to clean out my closet and get rid of my bigger clothes I am taking some to consignment and others to good will. My husband did the same and we finally have room in our closets. I mentioned room to buy more but he rolled his eyes at that idea.

ellgee - You can weigh whenever you want as long as you have it posted by the deadline. So if you are weighing on Fridays, then this Fridays weight is the weight you will need to use for your post. And of course you can go ahead and post it as soon as you weigh, you don't have to wait until Monday.

I was just reading through the posts and Cakebatter just reminded me of something I was trying to forget. Remember how optimistic I was about what I would lose this week? I just remembered that TOM is going to hit me right on my weighin day. :( I just hope that I've lost enough so that I can hide that stupid TOM bloat..........otherwise I'm going to be very upset!

Hi Everyone! Today was my weigh-in day. I can not tell you how excited I was to see......259.6 this morning!!!! A loss of 11.2 pounds! I've been following WW old "quick start" which only allows 20 points no matter what you weigh. A couple of days ago I switched to the old 1-2-3 Success Program and upped it to 28 points. It's been hard, but sooo worth it to see that number drop. I know much of it was water, but it still made me smile!

Congrats timeforme! Red team's gonna rock the weigh-in this week. I weighed in today as well and was pleasantly surprised to see a 2.2 lb loss. That in addition to the 4.4 from last week makes an overall 6.6 lb loss for week one weigh-in. Woot!

Thanks for the info Montecristo. Hopped on the scale this morning and after being sooooo good all week AND exercising, I am up .2 from Monday. :mad:

I may wait and make Saturday the official day.

BUT from starting weight I am down so no big worries.

Thank goodness you are all out there. I just shipped my last one off to college and I now feel as tho at least my red teammates depend on me.

Down 5 lbs. this week headed into the weekend and I'm determined to keep it that way!

I have finally mad a little movement on the scale. I am back to 179.6. I have seen this number once and am happy to see it again. Now I must go lower.

You will all learn very quickly that I go up and down like crazy. It just seems to be how my crazy body works. It is hard to deal with, but I have learned that I just have to stick with the plan and eventually good things happen. I also lose very slowly, but it ain't comin back on.

I just need to whine a little. I've realized that I've been basically the same weight this whole summer. I keep losing and gaining the same 5 to 7 lbs. Its driving me crazy. I looked at pictures from the end of July, and I was 232. I'm 230 now. Some of it is my own fault, but then sometimes its just my stupid body, and then regardless of how well I do during TOM, I still gain 3 to 4 lbs, and then it takes a week to lose that weight again.

ugh. I think I need to cut my calories. And actually stick with counting everyday again.

*cries* I want to be under 230!!!

Jaytee - 5 lbs is great!!

ANd Mtiger, it sounds like our bodies are similar.

Sorry I've been MIA, I've been in such a funk the last week or so. I did manage to take care of two things so that less I have on my mind. I feel a little better. My eating has been pretty good except yesterday when I had a marathon reading session fueled by Pepsi. :dz: I'm on the hunt for a second job.....again. I hope you are all doing great!

Howdy everyone--just checking in! Unfortunately that jerk TOM has just hit and the scale went up 4 freaking pounds this week. Today 3 1/2 of it is gone, so hoping will actually have lost some weight from the beginning of the week by the weigh in on Monday. I guess even if I don't lose any weight this week, I have lost 14 pounds since our first weigh in, so that will be a good weight loss none the less for our team!

This week challenge has been really difficult for me to meet. I set my workout minutes at 550 for the week, but DD has been pretty sensitive this week, and the childwatch people keep coming to get me after she starts asking for me, so I have not been able to get in my full workouts like I wanted. Normally I would have just not worried about it, but because of this challenge, I have been working out at home too so I can meet my goal. If I am able to get in 1 hr and 40 minutes in today, I will have met my goal...so I am really hoping I can fit it in today!

Hey everyone!!.. Just checking in to see how everyone is.. I had a crappy day.. emotional stuff and the weather is beyond fall-ish.. howling winds and cold rain.. blah..so i ended up snacking way too much out of sheer boredom on top of the emotional triggers.. I managed to get my water all int hough so hopefully will help a lil.. lol 3 workouts planned for tomorrow... now it is time to get to bed so that i can get up and accomplish that tomorrow lol I hope you all had a great weekend, good luck with the weigh-ins! Well I just posted my first weigh in. I'm really disappointed in my number because I did stay on plan for the past two weeks. However, I only lost 3 lbs. I did lose 6 1/2 inches though. I'm not giving up and I can't wait to see what I can do for the rest of the BL challenge. Go RED TEAM!

Hi all, just a quick pop in to let you know I have officially moved into my new place. Of course I forgot my scale but I will pop over to Target tomorrow or Monday and use one of theirs haha. I'm sure I will have a big number, as I have just recently been able to tolerate semi-solid food. It's awful when you want to eat and physically can't. Speaking of which I am due a dinner of mashed potatoes and applesauce. Hope everyone is have a POP weekend so we can rock the Monday weigh in!!!

Hi Reds! I have had a horrible weekend. TOM is kicking my butt, I stayed in bed most of the day today. But, I nought the 6 week BL bootcamp today and plan on starting tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Alright ladies, my weigh in day for the week is Sunday instead of Monday, and even though TOM is still sticking around, at least this morning all the weight I had gained when TOM first arrived is officially gone. Still didn't lose any weight this week, but that means I should have a good number next week when TOM is gone! Anyways, for my first weigh in from my starting weight, is a 15 pound loss! :carrot: Go Red Team!

I'm still here and cheering everyone on the red team on :carrot::carrot:. It's looking good for me to have a weight loss next week. Bathroom scales are showing a loss of 3lb, and my weigh in day is Wednesday.
So :hug: from me and although I may not post everyday I'm still around and a committed member of the Red Team.

Thanks!! I was at 229.0 this AM! And saw 228.6 when I moved. :) :carrot: Seeing 229 on the scale this week really helped me stay with counting my calories, and resisting buying bad food. I feel good!

Awesome Nicki! 3 lbs is great!

I'm sorry to all those members who had a visit from TOM this week! I know how much it sucks! I always gain at least 3 to 4 lbs during TOM.

My weigh day is Sunday, and I weighed in at 169.0. An overall loss of 1.6 from the beginning of the challenge, but the same as last week. Since TOM hit this week and I usually gain 2 pounds, staying steady seems to be pretty good to me. :D

Hey everyone, I've been really busy the past few days. Tons of homework and lots of tutoring other people. I also had a funeral to go to yesterday, so haven't gotten in much exercising the past few days. I posted my weigh in for the week..171, a 3 lb loss. Hopefully I'll be able to keep a loss like this every week.

Hiya all! Just checking in finally. Been a crazy week at work, then on Thursday I found out that my thyroid test results were not good, so we upped my dosage of Synthroid. Uhg, so frustrating... I wish I knew at what point I should think about seeing an endo instead of just going through my gp. (I was diagnosed in November, so I'm still trying to figure it all out...)

Had a good on plan week, although I didn't walk as much as I would have liked. I will be working on that this week and praying for at least a 1 lb loss this week... Anything will be better than the half lb gain of last week.

Anyway, I am off to drink some water and put my little monkey to bed. We spent a good portion of our day at the Dinosaur Valley Park, so I think we're all ready to hit the bed. :)

Just a quick check-in since I've also been busy the last few days. I'm not sporting a major loss this first weigh-in and I'm bummed. But at least it's a loss and I will make sure this doesn't happen again. This last 3 weeks has probably been my worst in 6 months. I am not gorging on food or eating way off plan, but I've had SO SO much going on it's really made it difficult to stay focused and make good choices and progress. The worst of it is over, I think, so I will move on and be the LOSER I know I can be! LOL

My weigh day is Wednesday so unfortunately I've already posted my weight which last Wednesday was the grand total of 0lb! That was one of the reasons why I changed eating plans and went back to Atkins which from previous experience works the best for me and it's the easiest one for me to stick to as well.
Having weighed myself this morning I can tell the group that my weight has gone down further but I won't say by how much just incase there's a blue lurking in our thread but it's looking good.:woohoo:

I did pretty well this weekend and I am quite proud of that! I got on the scale yesterday and I am back at my lowest weight :D :carrot:. I will weigh once more today at the gym and post it to the thread! I hope for a few ounces at least! Pleeeeease!

I report a 1.4 pound loss this week, wish it was more. I have not been strict enough on my calories and my exercise. I also did not get in all my water this weekend. Life just seems to get in the way.

Hi Red Team. I posted a big fat 0 this week. No gain but then again no loss. I went to the dr. last week and she said my thyroid is all out of whack again so we're in the process of trying to get those meds adjusted. I asked her why I'm struggling about losing weight and she said that my thyroid is most of it, also I'm menopausal so that also comes into play. So I'm going to try my best not to get too frustrated by it and continue on. I've been sticking to my 1500 calorie limit but not getting in enough water or fruit or veggies. So starting today I'm going to try to get that down pat and work on that seriously this week.

To everyone that posted a loss this week - GOOD JOB!! I'm so proud of you all!!

To those of us that maintained or gained - We'll be more determined next week and the blue team better watch out!!
