Good Morning chickies!
I had a discovery about myself last night that will hopefully help me going foward - I CANNOT do 3 days in a row of only 1300 calories or I'll end up blowing it. One is fine, two is fine but by the third I'm very hungry and end up eating closer to 2000, not a full on binge really but more then I want to consume! So i think I'm going to alternate my lower cal 1300 with my higher calorie range 1600 one day low, next day high to hopefully keep my body on track. So yeah yesterday not on OP day but not horrible and with some extra excerise today all will be well.

The Daily Plate allows me like 1674 a day with exercise. I try to keep it at about 1500, but I do have a couple of days a week where I will go as high as 2000, but I WILL exercise the next day. Last week, when I dropped the 3.1 lbs, I had 5 days of 1674 or below and 2 days of 1800 - 2000. :) I wonder if my new interval TM workout has anything to do with the scale going down faster this week?

Good Morning Red team!! I could use another day off! The mountain kicked my butt and I'm still feeling it today but its okay its the good hurt. Ya know something has to be said about people who do mountain climbing as a hobby..those people are in AMAZING shape! I've got strong legs and I'm hurtin, and I wasnt even on a straight up and down wall!

We had huckleberry pie last night, still hot from the oven with icecream Talk about heaven! I had a small piece and was totally satisfied with it! Its nice to know I can not eat the whole pie!

Okay gotta finish getting ready. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Morning!

I apologize for not being here in a while. I'm not even gonna make an excuse. I'm struggling and that's that. I posted a gain this week. I'm trying really hard to get back on track. Yesterday I went to the Zoo and walked for 7 hours up and down hills. I'm just really sorry I haven't been here to share in your victory's or to give a shoulder to those who are struggling :( ARGGGGGGGGGGGG...I HATE THIS!!!

Hi Ladies,

I'm not sure if I'll be around much this week. I need to go to my mom's house to help her out this week. She had her second knee replacement two weeks ago. She's in a lot more pain this time. She wants me to bring the kids to visit, but I think that will be too much for her. I'm thinking I'll just take my 8 year old because she won't be too much for my mom and can help out a bit.

I haven't taken my blood test yet. I need to work that in some time this week too.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm going to have to use my other freebie this week. I'm not sure what the problem is. I ate a little recklessly for a couple of days at the beginning of the week (but still under 2000 calories), but I've been completely on plan for 5 days, yet I'm still up. I'm going to tell myself that it is due to the strength training program I started a couple weeks ago.....;)

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a good weekend.

Heather - Congrats! 30 lbs is a big deal! Keep up the good work.

I'll try to catch up with everyone else later. Sorry...I've been really busy at work lately

I'm wondering if Flirting burns calories? I know I was all hot & bothered. hehe!

Today:
30 Minutes HIIT on the TM
20 minutes weights: Arms, legs, chest.
15 minutes flirting w/Hot dude in the GYM. ;)
100 Crunches
Week 2, day 1 on Push-up Challenge.

Perfectly OP so far on the food front. :D

Hello.
Well, I haven't exactly been feeling super good the last couple days. I've had a headache I can't get rid of, and while today is a bit better I still feel dizzy-like and almost nauseated from it.

I did drag my butt to the gym this morning tho', after having 2 days off in a row I knew I HAD to do it. Workout went ok, not fantastic like usual but at least I got thru it. I am hoping that I am on the upward swing and will be feeling like my old self soon as we are supposed to be leaving for Cali on Thursday!

Heather, love the pics! I say you need a really great full body shot tho! :D Would love to see how HAWT you're getting! ;)

joylove26 07-28-2008 03:10 PM

:congrat: to fat chick and diva for reaching those milestones!!! You both must be excited and feel great. How Awesome.

As for me, I'm doing well. I'm down this week, finally. I didn't think I was ever going to get rid of the weight I had gained. Now, to get down past the 220 mark. This is where I got stuck last time I was doing good losing weight. I really, really need to break it past here. I soooo want to get under 200.

I've been doing good at the gym. I just hope I can continue to put the same amount of time in once I get back to work. I can't believe I go back in 2 weeks. The kids start the week after. I'm actually glad, cuz I hate not working. I always get so bored over the summers.

Anyways, I hope you guys have a really great week this week and lose a ton of weight. http://www.pregnancy.org/bulletinboa...icon_smile.gif

Hello ladies! I have a very busy week coming up....at both jobs. We are doing a system upgrade this week at my day job, and I am the lucky person to be responsible for this. I have an after work meeting tomorrow to prep for it and the actual upgrade is after work on Thursday. Both Tuesday and Thursday are days I usually work at my 2nd job. I would normally blow the second job off, but since it is the last week of the month I have to get the money posted to accounts before month end. SO, I will have to go to the night job after the late nights at the day job. I'm not looking forward to it. Is it too early in the week to be ready for it to be over? ;)

sorry I've been MIA lately....lots of drama and such going on at my house...me and hubby are good now, but now the neighbors are starting crap and it's annoying us, esp since hubby isnt even here, their crap hiot the fan a few hours after he left Saturday afternoon. he was driving to Maryland....he's there now, a day early so he can relax/sleep before having to report to school tomorrow. he'll be gone for 2 months, then home for a few days then leave again for a month to CA. and i registered for my class today, and i start class the week before Abigail starts kindergarten, so i will have to figure out childcare for my class that week for both kids, then after that it'll only be Alex needing a sitter.
grrr...so much has happened lately and I'm sorry i havent been here, but i've been doing pretty good on watching my food intake and being better about healthy choices, i attended a smoking cessation class july 17th and i have my first appt tomorrow afternoon to give a medical/smoking history to them and decide the best meds/therapy for me to quit smoking. it's healthy for me and my family, plus its financially killing us nowadays, so somethings gotta give.....but i should get meds tomorrow and set my quit date for sometime next week, if everything goes according to plan. i'm excited but nervous at the same time. i've smoked off/on for 14 years (but i didnt smoke for 2 yrs and 3 year time periods in there)....so i really have 9 of 14 years smoking....and i'm only 27 (yes i started at age 13)....something i'm not proud of now (i thought i was cool back then)....and dont want my kids seeing it anymore and to finally be able to set a good example for them. i am trying to eat better, need to get back into working out (wometimes they workout with me to WATP), and now i can show them i can quit smoking and be more healthy.....i'm determined i'm gonna do it right this time!
oh and i guess the stress of hubby going to school 1600 miles away and neighbors being a pain in the rear....plus the tx heat (it was 90 degrees before lunchtime today, it's 100 degrees now).....i got to post a 2.2 lbs lose for this past week ;) i'm thrilled...just a few more pounds before i can readjust my goal back to 125 and get back to where i want to be. i have one more set of measurements to do on Aug 9th, and can post my overall losses/gains - just wish i had done before pics like i did last October.....maybe i can find a pic of me since i started this challenge.....i'll look in my pc.
well i know i've gone on and on....i have lots of reading to catch up on here....but need to figure out childcare for the kids for me to take a class. never thought i'd be a mom and be in college, just thought that chapter in my life was over (before getting married and having kids).....we'll see.
Accounting I, here i come....again :) refresh my memory from the class i took over 8 years ago so i can succeed in accounting II in the October semester.

Hi Girls - I guess it's the summer time but I've been bad with checking in lately too as many of you are. I try and speak up now and then, but my training has been keeping me busy. It was a good week this week -3lbs. I',m still wearing those damn size 14 pants, but they are starting to get loose. I did buy one size 12 which I zippered up but I can't wear yet. They aren't stretch though so I probably could wear a stretch 12 at this point. The last time I wore a 12 I was like 13 years old (although 12s were smaller then weren't they?)

FCB - 1300 for even one day is SO hard for me I can see why 3 days in a row would really trip you up. Can you add in a walk or something on your low calorie day to earn you a few hundred extra?

I was looking at my weight loss journal and over the past 3 years I have come down to 218ish in June/July only to wreck it and be in the low 230s by Sept. WTF?!??!?!? Issues or what?! So I am bound and determined to get under 218 and then under 200 and keep this going. (never to see 230 again!! LOL)

Jel - Yeah my next one is in 4 weeks. Its twice as long as the first one. 1/4 of an Ironman race! Eep! Keeping a journal that far back really helps us to see those trends. This is your year though! Keep on kickin' butt.
