 Not really. Does it count that my character is a great lover AND fighter? ;)

DH just called - apparently I left my lunch sitting on the counter this morning. What to eat for lunch now? That stupid Zaxby's Chicken Wing commercial keeps running thru my mind (Darn that John Schneider) but I just looked it up and it's over 500 calories for that "product". Not a chance. I guess I'll tempt fate and go to a grocery store while hungry.

Happy Friday, All!

Still doing great with the exercise and food! Did someone mention doughnuts! Mmmm, I don't care how they are made, I'm still going to eat them, lol. It's a good thing though that there isn't krispy kreme around for miles! It's not my downfall but I do like to have one once in a while. Anyway...looking forward to a very good WI tomorrow!

Going to go get some laundry done today and more exercise. Got in 45 minutes this morning already and aiming for 95 today.

MARIANNE...love the cat on the scale, lol...too cute!

Have a great day!

Friday's Blue Question of the Day:

How do you stay focused on the weekend?
Rhonda that is a great question. I have a difficult time on the weekends. During the week I'm busy and have a lot of things going on but many weekends I have nothing going on. That is fine with me because I totally believe in the "right to do nothing" but this gets me into trouble food wise. I'm working on trying to structure my time. Classes started back 3 weeks ago and I've barely done anything for school so I will focus on that this weekend. I still need to do some work on a paper my previous professor wants to try and publish so I will try to work on that this weekend also. And I have two stacks of mags to read and many books to read also. So those are the plans for the weekend.

Rhonda--I couldn't quite grasp powerpoint myself initially but now I love it . Especially if someone helps me I can get all fancy with it. Its also fantastic if you have a clicker.

Purplefirefly--Thanks for the info and I'm all about getting a deal. I haven't earned a reward just yet but I want to purchase those while still on sale. Here's hoping the sale didn't end yesterday.

Chellez--Thanks for clarifying about the challenges.

Doughnuts must be the in thing this morning. They were here at my office as well. I passed on any. The rep who brougth them also brought a full coffee bar and a lovely fruit tray. I did have some of that!!

Well, just checking in. Busy day at work...bbl!

I'm so hungry for sushi.

Soon2BFitChick 02-01-2008 02:53 PM

Was out today, had a sm burger with mustard and extra lettuce with a large unsweet tea with swt and low. MMMMM.. filled me up and only 330 cals so far today. :hun:

Talked with my mom and then my grandma on the phone. We always miss each other. Their birthdays are coming next week. I sent them cards with scratch off tickets in them. One won 5.00 and the other 1.00. LOL. They think they are fun tho!

Dang gotta go, Emily is climbing on me!

Big hugssssss, Selina

We seem to have moved away from the Donuts here and on to the bagels, and I don't just mean regular bagels, I mean Panara Bagels (Asiago Cheese, Cinnamon Crunch, etc and no reduced or FF cream cheese, no we have to have Honey Walnut spread)

I think they are trying to kill me:(

Shay 02-01-2008 03:39 PM

OMG I love the Honey Walnut spread from Panera. I could just take a spoon to it. No bagel needed.

FYI--I waited too long to purchase Jillian Michael's 5 dvd set from Amazon. Its no longer on sale there. Its about 24.99 now. But...the good news is I got it from Target who has a partnership with Amazon for the sale price of $14.49 or was it $14.99? I don't know but a good price. Purplefirefly I also got that beginners set too. My next exercise purchase will be the new Biggest Loser DVDs but I've got to lose quite a bit a weight to get there (to earn those as a reward).

I developed my exercise schedule for the month of February incorporating my dvds, equipment, and accessories. Based on what I wanted to use (read as I didn't incoporate all of my exercise dvds) I can do something different every day of the month. Granted I won't exercise everyday but I can look at my calendar on days that I want to and be good to go. I can be flexible too. This helps me because I get bored easily and variety is already built in and I am good to go. Oh yeah and I have those 8 new dvds on the way too.

kgood2005 02-01-2008 05:05 PM

They brought Dunkin Donuts to my work today. Its supposed to be some morale helper or something. I looked at them but didn't have any. I think I've looked it up before and there is like nothing on their menu under 600 calories or something like that. My manager is like are you going to be good? And I said yup. I had my little 1 point chocolate snack cake and I gotta say I really didn't miss the donuts.

Nori71 02-01-2008 05:16 PM

There is a Panera Bread close to my home. I haven't dared to even set a foot in there!

OK, food porn going on here: ever tasted Nutella? OMG!!!!!!! Chocolaty, hazelnut spread...heaven. Or ****.

practiceliving 02-01-2008 05:39 PM

Okay I gotta say that I am SO glad I don't follow football (no Super Bowl temptations!) and that we don't have donut shops near my work or house. I am a sucker for a good Tim Horton's sour cream glaze!

I think we're having risotto tonight (mmm mmm mmmmmm) and I am soo looking forward to it. Tomorrow I need to eat light during the day because I'm going to a Wii & Wiine & Chiise  party with my girlfriends in the evening and will probably drink too much wine and eat too much cheese!

Nori, did you have to bring up Nutella? I LOVE it, and so does DBF. If I had it my way, we wouldn't keep it in the house, but Mr. I-have-the-best-metabolism-ever-and-can-eat-anything-without-gaining-an-ounce eats it all the time and I can't deprive him something he really loves.

Nori71 02-01-2008 05:52 PM

I cannot keep it in the house! Lucky for me DH hates chocolate - and most sweets/snacky food for that matter.

ferrarimomof2 02-01-2008 05:54 PM

Just a quick check in today. I have been running errands all day. I went to WI today and I was down almost 2 lbs. I am at 179.2. I broke the 180 mark. I have not been this size since sometime early in my pregnancy with my DD in 2005. I was also measured today and I lost 5 inches last month for a total of 11 3/4 inches in 8 weeks. I am excited and my motivation is definitely back. Well, I better go clean the house up before DH gets home. Have a great night.

Shay 02-01-2008 05:55 PM

Nutella--I see it in the store all the time but never bought it. Sounds dangerous. I am a fool for peanut butter--reduced fat, natural, honey roasted well I don't like chunky because it tears up the bread. Like that is truly an issue because I eat pb straight from the jar.
