Rhonda! How can you follow up 2 posts about sex with "I did it!" and expect our minds to not be "in the gutter". That was good for a laugh, thanks. But more importantly, congrats on day 1, excellent job!
YES! HoosierHeather. Going down a size is one of the greatest feelings, congrats. QOTD - I just recently overcame one of my great fears...I signed up for a race! Despite very much wanting to, I never raced before because (A) I didn't want people to see me run (B) I'm paranoid about being slow and (C) I run alone and thought it would be weird to go to a race by myself. Well, last week I signed up for a race! I get to pick up my packet Monday and then the race is on the 15th. I finally decided that if I want to race I'm going to. The only reason I wasn't was another case of my goldfish syndrome. I just keep telling myself that there is nobody cares what I look like when I run, nobody cares what my time is, and nobody cares (nor will anyone even notice, I'm sure) that I am by myself. Since nobody cares, why in the world should I let my crazy concerns about what others think stop me. Long way of answering a fairly simple question, but come Sat. I will have overcome one of my fears and done something that I've been wanting to do for a long time! Hopefully it will be addicting. |

Nori I've been pretending that I don't see the Cadbury Caramel Eggs! If I can't see them, they can't hurt me. Right? Rhonda :yay: for you! I am not a fan of running, and you're going to end up motivating me to do the C25K. - Sonja |

Good morning, Accountability Friends!
As I said in last evening's quick post, I finally got myself together and got on the treadmill again. I think it’s been about 3 weeks since I’ve even stood near the thing! Since it’s been a while, I probably should have walked, but I really wanted to begin the C25K program….so, I did. I started the 13 week program which begins with an hour of 30 second “runs” and 4 ½ minute walks. I loved every single minute of it! I followed the recommendation of someone on the Cool Runners thread and used a knee support on each knee. I had planned on icing my knees afterward, but it was dinner time and then time for the kiddos to get to bed and I totally forgot to do the icing. Today, my left knee is just a bit “tender” feeling, but nothing major. I’m just really excited to finally make the jump back into exercising again. For me, it’s so much easier to stay motivated once I begin. And, I’m excited to finally be starting the running. Granted, it’s more of a slow jog…but, I like to call it running. Anna – I’m looking forward to seeing how the new eating plan works for you. Chellez – I know you’ve not been feeling well, but hope it is a beautiful day for you. Kelly - Congratulations on your 1.8 pound loss! :carrot: Dionne – Congratulations on you 2.5 pound loss! :carrot: So happy for you that Hubby is coming home today! Nori – Congratulations on beating your fear of the dreaded Stair Master Stepmill machine! I’ve never seen one, but they sound pretty intimidating to me. Last weekend, we had a birthday cake for my DD. After two bites, I got an incredible head rush and felt dizzy and nauseated. The headache came along about 10 minutes later. I guess we just aren’t used to that much sugar anymore. Yay! Heather - Congratulations on your smaller clothes victory! Jordan – I can’t wait to hear about your awesome run! Ellie – Congratulations on fitting into a smaller dress! Today, I have a very full work day including a couple of conference calls and another pending deadline on a project. Since I know it’s going to be a stress filled day, I've planned my menu the day. I’m also planning on getting on the treadmill again. Not sure if I’ll be doing the running part, but I’ll at least walk. Hope everyone has a great on-plan day. GO BLUE!! |
Happy Birthday, Chellez! :bday2you: Hope you have an absolutely wonderful beautiful day!

Oh, good morning friends!!
I am full of joy and sooo cheerful. The group I have started singing with rehearsed last night, and I am still pumped. Plus, we did publicity photos and I my hair is still big! Rhonda--Yippee on the running. I am hoping snow will hold off here and I can run outside this afternoon. However, I am guessing it will be a treadmill day. Chelle--Wow, that is not a lot for newlyweds. I understand what you mean about lower drive when you are heavy AND busy. I have told you that I gained my weight when working and going to school. It is a lot of pull in many directions. Ellie-the size drop must have you thrilled. heather--how is everyone? We should hook up at Wonderlab when all the kids are well. Have a beautiful, musical day! |
Awww Rhonda! TYVM!
I actually showed up to work a whole 30 minutes early this morning because I didn't have breakfast. I'm not nervous or excited because most of my celebrating happens tomorrow. I don't know. I just wasn't in the mood for breakfast. Not really doing anything special today. I'm at work til 5 then I have to go to class tonight until 10:30. We were supposed to have a party for me in class but at the last minute plans got changed and now we aren't doing anything until next Thursday because my teacher found a full time job. So the class decided to join parties. I hate to be short but I need to get some stuff done around the office then start on homework thats due later. I'll try to be back on in a few hours! :D |
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHELLEZ!!!!!!!!
Good Morning everyone, I'm just checking in. I am off to get the house cleaned and then I am going to get a manicure and pedicure. If I have time before DH flies in I guess I better work on that yearbook. I can't wait for DH to get home. CONGRATS to everyone on NSV's and losses. RHONDA Keep up the work on running. I think I may look further into the C25K thing. You have helped to motivate me. The weather is warming up here and I actually walked and ran outside with the kids yesterday. So, I don't have more time for personals right now. I will try to catch up soon. Well, I better get going on my stuff to do. I hope that everyone has a great POP day. Have a great day. |
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELLEZ!!!!! HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY:)

Happy Birthday Chellez!
Rhonda - WTG on finishing week 1! Jordan - I get the goldfish syndrome too. Congrats on signing up for a race. You'll do great! Nori - I'm a big fan of the Cadbury mini-eggs. They are my downfall every Easter. This year I'm determined not to have ANY. I always think I can have just 1 mini pack, and then suddenly I'm secreting 1 pound bags under the seat of my car, in my desk drawers, in the laundry room, etc. I have no control whatsoever when it comes to them. I think the Cadbury company adds a little something extra in the chocolate to make them addictive. Ellie, Heather - Congrats on the smaller clothes sizes! Me - Still feeling yucky, plus TOM finally showed up this morning, and to cap it all off, I got a ticket on my way to work this morning. Somehow we'd neglected to renew my car tags...6 months ago. WTH? How did I managed to forget to do that? Oh well, 2 midol and a diet Mt. Dew later and things are looking better. At least I wasn't speeding. |
Dee - they are awful! The whole Cadbury line.
Jordan - I think quite a few people run alone in races? More guys that girls maybe. Kuddos to you for deciding to do it though. Happy Birthday Chellez! Have a wonderful day! Confession: I had a binge last night. About 700-ish calories. Some raspberry sherbet, cornbread and an English muffin with peanut butter that I didn't quite manage to finish before waking up to what was relaly happening. How gross is that to eat one right after the other. I was feeling stressed and Dh had turned in for an early night. It's really annoying. The binging, I mean. But, onwards. I MUST stay under 1500 calories. I will aim for 1200 and go from there. I was up 1 pound on the scale this am. |
Happy Birthday to You :hat:
Happy Birthday to You :hat: Happy Birthday Dear Chelle!!!! Happy Birthday to You :hat: All the Monkeys in the Zoo give their Best Regards to YOU! :woo: |

Little glitch in the eating plan. At lunch, I get a little crazy. I panic and eat and eat because I know dinner is going to be small. I was not hungry last night, though, so I don't know what I am making a big deal out of it. Also, I was eating lentil soup, so it is not like I was eating a ton of calories. The treadmill will take care of it later. If this works....well, I have had too many things not work to get too excited. |
