hello from the BLACK team!!!! Just wanted to say how happy I am to be a part of it, especially after I just ordered Jillian's dvd set and TBL 2 dvd. (HURRY AMAZON!) I'll be posting my measurements soon and hopefully get a pic in this week. Good luck to all.

Alright Blue Team..... Time for your surprise!...

Hey Chellez, thanks for the surprise (I shrunk it a bit to fit with my signature) and all your efforts to put this together.

This challenge could not have started at a better time. For a few weeks now I have been doing my diet differently for the sake of my stomach issues. I am working toward eliminating all processed foods and eating as "clean" as possible. No sugar (real or artificial), no cakes, cookies, diet bars, candies, nothing fried, sautéed, no juice, no soda, nothing low-fat, low-carb--just plain simple food, cooked simply. So far my cravings for sweet or salty snacks and breads have lessened and my stomach thanks me! But motivation to keep this going while still cooking regular food for my family will be tough. (First challenge today: Hubby brought mini donuts this morning , but I resisted temptation and went for a banana and s/f natural peanut butter :).

So I am off to catch up on all these posts.

GO BLUE!!!!!

Chellez - if you have time and want to make one for the Black Team with Jillian... I'd love it! She doesn't make me drool so much, but I do think she's a gorgeous woman!

I'm really enjoying all of the energy in the thread. I hope it continues. I'm also excited to see that a lot of people are doing measurements and/or pictures. I think that tradition should continue through all the challenges in the future. Granted I'm not brave enough to post pics but I was brave enough to admit my belly measures 50".

Jillian is awesome. I am so very happy that Kim is gone!!!

I think that would be great!
Thanks for the offer Chellez.

I'm so shy about posting pictures, but I might as well. Maybe I'll even post the ones from pre-last challenge since my Red team didn't get to see those either. The change is finally showing.

Ergh. Gotta gather the courage though. :)

Hey Chellez or others - I dont have paintshop pro or any other photo editing software - is there another way to scale pictures to fit the required 500 x 500 size? I am very illiterate in adding photos, I understood how to post after that, but scaling is a mystery to me? Thanks

jlbake 01-13-2008 08:33 PM

mumtoliam-- You can use Paint to resize your pictures. It's under the "accessories" folder if you have windows.

Finally got the image in my signature. Of course I was making it harder than it had to be. Kept trying to use the image loading options at the bottom. :?:
Then finally found the correct image button to use. The other way says the image is too large.

Wow Chellez,
What a YUMMY suprise....thanks!

moonrosee 01-13-2008 08:40 PM

Forgot to add that I will post pictures in the Watch me Bloom thread after I hit 25 posts, can't do it before then.

xJox 01-13-2008 08:43 PM

Food wise, today has not been great. But I did manage to get in 25 minutes of TBL workout low impact.

onthetee 01-13-2008 08:46 PM

Hey, gang, I sucked today. I did make it to the gym and do 33 of cardio and 17 of pilates. However, it was the baby's birthday. We did not do cake, but had blueberry muffins instead...I only ate 1/2 of one. DH put chips out for snacking, and I blew darn-near every calorie or 'flex' cals for the week on chips. Stupid. Oh well. Everything else today was OP, so once the H2O is gone on Tuesday, I should be OK.

Struggling with posting the pics, which is not like me, since I am a tech writer and do this kind of thing ALL the time. Maybe I have potato chip brain tonight.

sxulcmnky 01-13-2008 08:46 PM

good luck everyone!!

i'm sally and i'm on the black team

I'm so excited to be on the blue team. :)

I don't exercise on Sundays for religious reasons. Sometimes we take a family walk but it was freezing rain today :( so even that didn't happen. I am setting the alarm for 5:30a.m. so I can at least get in a Denise Austin or something before the kids start waking up. DH is under strict instructions to stay upstairs during my exercise DVD no matter what!

I'm not doing anything specific as far as eating, except cutting way back on sugar. I don't like bread or pasta so that's not my problem. But I have an unhealthy infatuation with brownies. :) And sugary cereals. So I'm doing eggs & a veggie for breakfast to try and get away from starting the day on a sugar roller coaster.

So happy this is finally starting!!!
