I am going to aim for 350....that's 50 minutes a day.
I need to reach 1200 by the end of the month, and I am a bit behind...so this is the perfect place to turn on the heat!! Let's go BLUE!!! 09/17 ..35 min Turbo Jam 09/18 ..40 mn Turbo Sculpt, 30 min walk/run, 30 min bike ride...to the mall to buy the Biggest Loser work-out DVD. Talk about killer work-out OUCH!!! 09/19 ..30 min BL workout 09/20 ..35min BL cardio 09/21...30 min BL strength/sculpt 09/22..30 min walk/run 09/23..35 min BL cardio, 30 min bike ride, 50 min walk/jog 375 minutes...25 mins past my weekly goal!! how did everyone else do? Anyone up for another week? |
Week's goal: 330 minutes! Hoping to get a lot of that done on Tuesday/Thursday. I'm going to double up on my classes at the gym: Cardio Kickboxing followed by a "Step and Sculpt" class. The rest of the week, I want to be doing weights/HIIT.
09/17- 09/18- Okay...I totally kicked butt tonight! 1 hour Cardio Kickboxing class followed immediately by a 1 hour Step and Sculpt class I burned 1200 calories in my 2 hours! BAM! 120 minutes done :D 09/19- I feel kinda lame. Only a 30 minute walk today--but I'm going to kick my butt with two classes tomorrow night, so no worries :) 09/20- Nada 09/21- 30 min. Walk 09/22- 09/23- |

09/17 --40 minutes elliptical 09/18 -- 0 as expected 09/19 -- 20 minutes running; 21 minutes walking (81 to date) 09/20 -- 20 minutes running, 22 walking (123 to date) 09/21 -- 40 minutes elliptical (163 to date) 09/22 - 10 minutes running 36 walking (209 ONLY ONE MINUTE TO GO!!) 09/23 -- 40 minutes elliptical (249!!!!) So here is what happened. I started to join the challenge and my computer froze trying to get this page to open. Rats. So I got up (at 9 PM) and went to the gym. When I got back an hour later, the page had opened and I was able to post my time! No way to work out tomorrow. DH/kid schedule/no sitter on Tuesday. |
Unfortunately, my sciatac (don't even know how to spell it quite honestly?) is still real bad so I was told not to start my exercise routine quite yet. I am so anxious though, I am the type of person that if I have something on my mind I want to do it and stick to it...no excuses, so this has really put a damper on things as my goal was to start the day kids started back at school. I just hope and pray that this goes away real soon as I am in so much pain and it seems to be getting worse instead of better. Well do all of you who can exercise, I wish I were you! So good luck and hopefully I can join the next exercise challenge which will be soon enough...in the meantime I will make sure to stay on plan with my food so I can at least help out in that way. Have fun exercising, and enjoy it, I know I would be!

Is there any way your Doctor would allow you to do chair exercises with bands or something, just to keep active for your own well being? I know how depressing it can be to have to stop exercising. How is everyone else doing? Check in, Ladies! ;) |
I suffered with sciatica (sp??) off and on for years bella mia.:( And I do mean suffered!:( Hope it's getting better for you - let us know.:hug:

Just cannot tell you what a difference this challenge made in my life this week! Every time I thought "screw it" to myself, I thought of you all and MADE myself hit the pavement and/or gym. FINALLY feel like I got my $$$'s worth from our Y membership!;)
What has really blwon me away is my change in ATTITUDE about exercise - the day that I didn't get any I MISSED it and that "good" feeling! Just SO not like me - and am just amazed at how I blew my conservative goal totally out of the water! Tx so much for starting this Challenge soulbliss!:hug: I'm in the abs/push up Challenge now - but really gonna miss this one - let me know if you start another week!:carrot: |
Although I didnt do well....only two days for a total of 120 minutes...I'd like to keep going with this one. What do you say, do it again?

I'm up for doing it again (well, actually DOING IT this week)! I'm feeling a little better this week, so I think I can actually stick to it. :D

I agree with you aud...I was not 'into' exercising at all before I joined the monthly exercise challenge on another thread. Then, once I started, I feel that my day isn't complete until I get some kind of work-out done! It really does make a huge difference.
I will absolutely be in for another week! |
Let's do it again! I am so glad some were able to use the challenge to think of the team and keep motivated! Let's try to motivate others and ourselves and others to do even better next time. ;)
