Apparently I won the last 5 lb challenge, so here is the next one. :D

GW: 379 1/13: 384.0 1/14: 384.2 On a side note, I find that right after TOM I get a whoosh, but then when I start my birth control pill again (My pills are set up where you don't take any the week of your period), I always show a small gain and then takes a few days to hit another whoosh. Anyone else experience this? |

1/14 265.6 GW 260.6 shan I am done with TOM but I do know that he can cause a lot of problems with weight loss. The best thing I ever did was have him surgically removed. Anyone have any suggestions on what to take into the movie theater so I can chew on something other then popcorn? |

1/13. 176.4 1/14. Dnw 1/15 176 I have been tracking everything in fitness pal. When I look the nutrition data, it is very obvious how little fiber and iron I am consuming. I was surprised about the iron because I eat 5 or 6 oz of red meat a day and I also have a spinach salad everyday. What do you do for fiber and iron? Are probiotics, Metamucil, or mirolax allowed? Do you take iron supplements? |

The only thing I can think of is that I had diarrhea for two weeks and the past two days I have been totally bloated and constipated. Idk...will keep on and hope it drops soon. |

I am by no means a expert but I have gotten some excellent advice from the admins on the face book page who really know their stuff and speak from experience.
Traveler, I believe the reason he said no iron supplement is because we should get all we need from meats and veggies. We also should have plenty of fiber if we are getting in our 12-15 carbs a day from veggies. I know the only time my bowels have "slowed down" is when I cut back on veggies in an effort to do it "my way" and that does NOT WORK. Shan, fat fat fat, it true, add avocado, cook your bacon wobbly so it is still full of fat, put mayo and butter on everything lots of it... I know it pulls me out of a "stall". I keep LOTS of cooked bacon on hand and eat it liberally anytime I want a snack or have a craving... it does the trick. Red onion, and 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1 tsp of ranch dressing (0 carb/0 sugar), 24 oz of water Side note: please don't say I need to add bacon because I can't. I've looked all over this city here in China and it's only Canadian bacon that tastes like chili peppers in my mouth it's so bad. |
Ok guys this is getting discouraging the scale just keeps going up and I know its not being bad its water in my healing muscles but I'm going to lay off the scale for a bit and stay POP and see what happens.

Did you eat more at dinner? Are you tracking? I use fatsecret, it helps to see the exact count..You can quit after a while when you get the plan and count that works for you... Jessie: so sorry you are having a hard time....Keep on keepin on girl...:cp: I know its slow go for me due to age, (72) and years of yoyo dieting....So be it, I have to live with that..This last 24 #s took me 7 months...Thats ok maybe this time I can keep it off... |
