thanks ladies, y'all are way to inspiring for me to have cheated I was just venting but let me tell ya I am so proud of myself!!! I had a in work training day where we all went out to lunch together, I brought my own salad dressing and at the restraint while everyone around me was eating fries and sandwiches I had a bacon Amish cheese burger no bun with mustard and a side salad with olive oil and vinegar and then when they ALL ordered pie 5 pieces and passed them around the table (2 were my favorite) I politely denied and didn't even die inside
I am just trying to remember that the yoyo is ok and daily it does not reflect a weekly change 3.2 in a week is not bad i'll take it
Today the scale rewarded me for being good!!!

Kuselton.. We congratulated you as you had lost 1 lb and that is wonderful.. I am sorry that it found you again yesterday.. but I hope when you step on the scale it has left the building and took another friend with it! AND YOU DID! Lost that gained lb and took another with it!

Agh! No change again. :( I drank so much water yesterday I practically lived in the bathroom (sorry if TMI), and I really felt like I was losing weight. I ate perfectly too. I guess it is time to add in exercise to get the needle moving. Tried 30DS a couple times, yesterday I hurt my back and the chiroprator said no more. So back to yoga.

Ali - The great thing about TOM weight is it goes away! You'll be back on the losing side in no time.

Sue - Great job on the loss!

Jesse - way to go girl! it's hard to pass that stuff up but feels so good when you do!

Monte - it'll start moving, be patient. Remember don't get to bent over daily weights like Jesse said - those weekly are a better reflection of how you are really doing. No change or minor flucuations are all normal --- frustrating --- but normal! :)

As for excercise - check out FitnessBlender - I am in LOVE with their site! All videos are free an they have a huge variety. I need more structure so I bought their 30 day beginner program which is 5.99 - and they give you a file to download of which videos to on which days.

Just for fun I added a formula to my weightloss excel spreadsheet that gives me the average of the last 7 days weight each day. Beautifully enough, it shows a loss every single day using the averages. Made me feel a lot better. :)

Mara. Yep, my appointment is Tuesday (like yours!) I will be thinking of you and knowing that when you are done with the surgery, you will BE BETTER and heal fast! ME I am thinking that I am a worry wart and that the spot (changing colors) is just nothing.. being on my forarm... I hope it is nothing!

I had tequila shots, a few chips and cheese dip with dinner and know I will have water weight so I avoided the scale this morning. Back on the right track this morning with a weigh in tomorrow.

I forgot to ask you ladies and I think I know the answer which is why didn't buy any but all of the hard salami, roast beef or any kind of meat that I can find and I want to eat all have dextrose less than 2% in them that's a no-no right. I mean the total carb count is zero and the sugars are zero but if dextrose is ingredient that means you can't eat it right? I can't find any deli meats I want that don't have it in there.

Any opinions or info??

Jessie... watch out for the Nitrates too... and the sodium. As for the dextrose.. Maybe JerseyGirl can answer that.. I eat Pepperoni every other week.. but mostly its fresh Chicken or Boars Head deli meat (does not have as many "things" added to it) :) and your uptick.. WATER! Time for some LEMON water or LEMON Tea (use fresh lemons.. they help us pee!)

I am still going down.. During my usual 1 week of woosh (really just 5 days) I lose about 4 lbs.. and I seem to be in the middle of it again.. OR maybe its my MIND Change to being back to being COMMITTED again and am in that auto pilot frame of mind that I can work with and not be tempted.. I don't know.. but its working and I plan on WINNING THIS THING! YEP Watch out GIRLS! Skipper Sue is running to the lead! LOL

Didn't weigh today...I'm coming down with something and I feel terrible. :( Ate like crazy yesterday, but at least I stayed with allowed foods.

As icky as I feel today, and as non existant as my weight loss has been this last week, I do have a rather significant NSV to report. I have now been on Atkins for 4 weeks, and I have not cheated once. Not even one morsel or sip of a forbidden item has passed my lips. So :yay: for me. :D

Wow! you guys are doing great!

Sue they put my surgery for this Thursday so if you all don't hear from me I am just probably sleeping. :) Sue my Mom just had a spot checked and was told that if was benign, but to stop tanning. So fingers crossed that you get the same if not better news. :hug:

I am not doing well. So much temptation and stress. I went to the Royal Horse Gala show here and it was wonderful! We got the really nice seats where they prepare food (brisket flatbread, pinwheels, chicken fajitas) and drinks for you and I ate a lot, but I really enjoyed it. And I will not even get into the desserts they had present. :o

Hoping that after surgery I will be in a better mindset and feel more energetic. I am just tired, worried, and nervous so I am not sticking to my guns. I did go for a four mile walk yesterday so that was nice. :)

does anyone here use MCT oil? I have been putting coconut oil in my coffee or tea daily and love it, wondering about bulletproof coffee / tea and get ya some ice cream which call for MCT oil.. just curious

Jessie... BulletProof coffee I have a recipe in my fat fast book.. Tho yep.. on induction - Dr. Atkins does not want people to drink too much caffeine as you will be shedding water anyway and caffeine moves more out and that could be harmful....

Well I now have double jinxed myself Holding water - maybe anxiety and worry helping that too :(

Mara – good luck at your surgery as well, will also be thinking of you! Stress does make it hard to focus and hopefully things will get easier after you recover!

Jesse – I don’t worry about dextrose – but like sue said Nitrates for sure. But to be honest the nitrate free stuff is a little out of my budget so I just buy Oscar meyer black forest ham right now and limit what we eat of it. We do use pepperoni’s too, probably a lil more often then I should! Lol
What is MCT oil?

Antonia/Monte – Congrats on a new low!! Hope you feel better soon! And congrats on the no cheating!

YOU WORKED HARD FOR THAT ONE AND CERTAINLY DESERVE IT!!!!

MCT... medium chain triglyceride's, they are the healthy fats in coconut oil only concentrated... I have been taking it 3 tablespoons a day with food... yummy and fatty lol
