I can't even remember for sure what today's date is lol.

I am just happy that there wasn't an increase in my weight, I will take staying the same if I have to chose between remaining where I am or gaining.

I have done some thinking and think that a goal of just 5 lbs would be fairly reasonable to do between now and Feb 14th. It isn't to stressful of a number if I eat correctly.

I am keeping busy, training at work. I am trying to focus on positives and tell myself that I am doing a good job learning this job. I can do 12 things perfect and one thing wrong and I focus only on the 1 item. I at least have pointed that out to myself. I spoke to my husband again last night about needs I have with help, and once again saying what I need and want really worked. So, I am going to try not to forget that the next time I need or want something before I get upset, remember to ask for what I need. That is so hard.

Main, I decided on a 5 pound goal as well. I think that if I could get to, and hold onto 5 I would be delighted.

You're doing a lot of hard work. It's that "1" thing that keeps me up at night. I've been training myself to continually refocus to the things that I've done right. I often just go to a place of gratitude because that always feels good.

I had a good food and exercise day. I'm feeling proud of myself. Five days of solid commitment. YAY!

Just checking in - worked out today and can't wait to get home at the end of today!!! Ate off plan and know the scale will pay me for it tomorrow morning!!

Oh it is so hard to have that bread sit anywhere near me (tho not as hard and as tempting as it was 1 year ago... the craving for bread does fade.. its just the smells.. ahhhhhhhh Glad THOSE have no calories!)

Mainecyn... Oh that is a hard lesson to learn... to ask for help! I too have a hard time asking and just try to do everything on my own (eating, working out etc). But helping other people makes me happy... so wouldn't other people be happy too to help me? Everyday I have to wrap that around my head! You are on the right track and this time ... your results will show you are moving forward to getting your goal!

Calee glad you are sticking with it! :) Give yourself a few days and then WHAM the scale will show you the results of your hard work!

Lulu... Tomorrow we will see you good week of work (ignore that Chocolate cake.. that was, well, an aboration or maybe a dream??!!!) :D

1/5 242.8 (-1.0 total) Hooray! I willed it I swear! LOL Funny.. when I do believe it will happen.. it does! ahhhh my motto rings true.. I just have to remember!

Good Morning everyone,

Sue, how are you feeling?

I'm really happy that it's Friday! I'm looking forward to a fun weekend. Nothing special planned but will see a few friends and get in some nice walks.

I woke up feeling really swollen this morning. I know I didn't drink enough water yesterday. But I did eat on plan. 66/22/11% 1200 calories.

I have in 8 hours of exercise since Monday so today is just 30 minutes walking. Having an eye exam after work, then getting a pedicure because I deserve a bit of pampering after working so hard to eat on plan all week and just because I need it too! :)

I'm super pleased with my progress this week. I know I'll make my Vday goal and hopefully beyond.

Main, I'm really happy you saw a loss on the scale this week. It always helps me stay focused because I want another scale reward. Crazy but true!

calee I ended up going last night with my husband actually, I did not touch the bread and delicious cinnamon sugar butter! I did have chili and a couple fried cheeseballs that were battered though :( I used the ketostix twice so far today, first one no ketones detected second trace ketones so hopefully I didn't do too much damage and slip right back into ketosis. . . the reason I expect a gain after exercise is because sore muscles retain water they need for the healing process. I hadn't been doing much strength training so I know they weren't already holding water for repairing. . . congrats on 100lbs maintaining, that is awesome!

mainecyn 5lbs is a great goal! and good job for talking to your husband about what you need, that can be so hard sometimes.

Hey ladies hope you all are doing well!! Congrats to everyone continuing to loose!

PNK- I need to do the same thing LOTS OF WATER! lol

I couldn't ignore the call of the scale for a whole week so I jumped on this morning and down to 208 I have to say after last week I had my hopes up a little to much even though I knew better but 2lbs is fantastic. I'm just a nerd. Just been having a hard time remembering to eat now that I am back in school it has been a really big struggle. I am able to get breakfast and lunch in usually then I am to tired to make something low carb and cook for my kids that I just cook for them and I snack on low crab stuff. (I am still working on incorporating this lifestyle into all of our lives.) My calories haven't seemed to reach over a 1000 much this week with all the veggies and I know I can't continue that! I haven't cheated though and just because of convenience I have to say that is SOOO hard! I will figure it out just needed to vent a little! Have a wonderful weekend ladies!

Pixie, I understand about eating out. Good job staying away from the bread. If younwere in trace ketosis, you'll probably be back in by tonight or tomorrow. Are you back on track today? I don't know if I've held onto weight after working out.

Brooklyn, I can tell you from personal experience that those measly two pounds add up to a lot over time. Hang in there and eat eat eat so that your body is a happy little fat burner.

Down 6 pounds from the beginning of this thread - my new goal is to be in the 160s by Valentine's Day!! I actually think it is doable!! My clothes are looser even though the scale has stayed in the 170s.

NSV: Noticed again that bras not fitting correctly- went and was re-measured last night - down to a 38. I started at a 44. I almost fell over....honestly never expected that. And in Jones New York - the business separates I like to buy - down to 12. Only shopping on the smaller side of Dress Barn now - it still feels really, really awkward.....enjoying and "adjusting" to the journey!!

Good Morning!

Lulu, your progress is awesome! Sounds like you had fun shopping.

I was tired last night. Slept 9:30-5 so I had a good sleep. I don't have a lot planned for today. Instead of waiting until today, I got my mani/pedi last night after my eye exam. Today is a bit of closet cleaning/donating. My pilates studio is having a grand opening party so I'll walk up there and probably walk 5k around the lake on my way, then browse the farmers market. Maybe some meat shopping. This week I feasted on grass fed beef burgers and lamb burgers. Maybe something different next week.

I'm delighted with my weight loss. I get a bit of scale motivation every day. I'm keeping my fat up and calories in the 1100-1400 range with net carbs under 25. I eat a good bit of veggies but no fruit.

I nearly fell of my scale this morning. I had to re-weigh myself 3 times and then took my measurements because I was in such disbelief!

Somehow I managed to lose two pound this week. I am dreaming, I swear.

Only one day of exercise, though it was ALOT! Shoveled a foot of snow from a 4 car driveway all by myself. Boyfriend has been stuck in bed with the flu. So glad I got my flu shot!

The calories versus weight loss just does not match up .... I still think I'm dreaming!! Someone PINCH ME!

NSV NSV NSV alert WEEEEE shopping in the regular sized clothes and fitting! I think I have an idea of what you are feeling.. after being in a certain part of the store... it just does not feel right with the Universe to be in the other section.. BUT YOU ARE! BELIEVE IT! :D Mind adjustment is a big time thing with weight loss I am finding!

Me.. I whooshed again... walking and Pepper Turkey done did it! :) and being positive (in my head!) and thank you Calee.. I feel great!

Cape when I counted calories I would cut them back to like 1200 and eat very little fat and moderate protein and carbs and I hardly ever saw that scale move. On Atkins my carbs are 20 my fat is high protein is moderate/high and my calories are at 1600 or more sometimes and I still lose. Its hard to wrap our head around what we have been taught all our lives isn't what works for us! Funny thing is I have been having a very hard time this week even getting over 1000 calories, part is because of time and part is because of not being hungry and the scale seems to move a little less lol.
