Chip alternatives?

  • I don't miss chips by themselves but I am tempted by salsa (which we can have) and cheese dip (which we can have).

Any low-carb tortillas out there? Pork skins do in a pinch but just not the same.
  • These might be a good alternative and they're Induction friendly

  • Jersey girl ur amazing! Always so helpful n inspiring
  • Not on atkins, but a while back I made some 'crackers' out of string cheese. Cut up a sting cheese into 4ths or 8ths and put into a muffin tin and bake for 3-4 minutes.

Also, won ton crisps.....not sure what the carb count is, but these are very yummy also!

  • Mammasita- Not on atkins either but that string cheese 'crackers' sounds good!

8 Wonton wraps has about 31g of carbs (at least for mine, it is.) So not sure if that's high or not?

What about kale chips? I've never had them but heard a lot about them, though.
  • Kale chips are awesome, but they're usually not robust enough to stand up to dipping in anything.

Parmesan cheese makes really good crispy treats too!
  • If you have a favorite pita bread, you can easily make chips by tearing up the pita bread and baking it for about 6 minutes. I do this sometimes to reduce oil and sodium.
